So you’re saying you’re “the man?” [LOL:D]

Actually your prose could have just as well meant, “ha ha, that’s a ridiculous statement, all CEOs, etc., are thugs.” It was not obvious you were attempting tongue 'n cheek humor except to you. Nevertheless you did a wonderful job of clarifying after the fact with a carefully measured amount of cocky attitude for flare. So obviously you can write with clarity and intent if you so desire. If you’re too lazy to write with clarity, you might familiarize yourself with the use of “smilies.” Much more attention getting than acronyms. They’re found in a small box to the right of the text box. 😛

> Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the use of the abbreviation ‘lol’ that can either precede or follow some humorous, i.e. something said in jest. Might help you keep your foot out of your mouth.
>
> I happen to know and interact with CEOs and former CEOs from companies as big as Cessna, and one of the worlds largest builders of paper converting equipment, down through investment management, class action research firms, wireless internet systems and maintenance, etc. Not to mention I’m one myself. Most of them are great people, some others I have had to deal with are pompous asses.

> Years ago when I still worked for someone other than myself I had a shop steward file a grievance on my behalf. Never bothered to tell me though. I didn’t think the issue was that big a deal, and never would have signed off on it. Who got caught between the Union and management? Me, and all because of shop politics.
>
> I have a very strong dislike of politics even though my Grandfather was president of a local county Democratic Party for a number of years before he passed. I’ll leave it at that.
