Do you know why he introduced this again in a new bill when he already had 22 cosponsors on his other one, H.Res. 333? (one of whom I’m proud to say is Keith Ellison, our brand new congressman from Minnesota!) ---

mmmm… I think it may be because when one is bottled up in comittee it dies a slow death which they hope will not be a revivable case… this may be the Freddie Kruger approach… have it spring to life as soon as they thought it was done for… would be intriguing if a Cheney impeachment lit up… grittier business than Monica Lewinsky… poor Monica… to be dragged through all that for voyeuristic creepiness calling itself serious journalism… now here comes something with some meat on it and Nancy “Invertebrate Life From” Pelosi won’t hear of it… ---

Monica Lewinsky was easy for people to understand … what is that strange white stain on her nice blue dress? Easy story to sell in soundbites on 6 o’clock news … er, I mean infotainment. Cheney’s crimes are a little more complex, and less sexy. LOTS less sexy. ---

Fraudulently misrepresenting the existence of evidence gets you in a whole heap of trouble here in the state court system… Lying to your shareholders about substantive matters will probably crash your stock price (in our case, the stock price in question is the value of the US Dollar… which is going down, down, down rather Enronishly) and might land you in federal prison as a cellmate of Jeffrey “I Was Framed” Skilling… Do the equivalent at the governmental level and they give you a medal of freedom ? I can see where Ron Paul is drawing his support from… the amazing thing is the washington establishement can’t come to terms with their own collective bankrupcy. ---

P.S. as of right now, Ron Paul is about $1000. away from having 8 million dollars in contributiuons… ---

I don’t see Ron Paul’s name on that list of 22 cosponsors of H.Res. 333 … I’d sure like to hear his explanation for that.
