Hello, I’m male, late 20’s, grad school student. I’m newly living in France and don’t yet speak the language. I’m here because I remember reading ages ago about early experiments with androstenone, and at the time, I promised myself I’d check back when the research was mature. Now, that I’m recently finished with an unreasonably long relationship that was going nowhere, I find that I can not only take advantage of all of this knowledge, but maybe even contribute a little. My personality? I’ve never been asked before! I guess I don’t take myself or anyone seriously. Not afraid of failure. I don’t know if I put off an Alpha vibe, but I definitely find that male friends are always trying to impress me. I’m way short, always the smallest in a group, even compared to girls. I used to pull alot of female attention back in high school, but it doesn’t seem to happen anymore. I think I’ve closed up from being stuck in a bad relationship for so long. It may also be because I’ve never tried to pick up a stranger- so far all my good fortune with girls have been from friends/class. I’ve started to wonder if it’s my height, but honestly, I never noticed small height was a disadvantage until I read some statistics very recently. Thus far, I’ve tried A314, P83, P79, IShine, and Ammo in various combinations. I find that A314 (3 - 8 drops) does nothing for me and for the way people treat me. This includes, established friends, complete strangers, and people I haven’t seen in some time. Maybe I still need to climb that learning curve. I will not give up on this one any time soon. I’ve tried Ammo from 2 sprays to 8 (obvious OD) with the addition of IS and the putatives and haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary, but being in a foreign country and knowing nothing about picking up strangers, I don’t know that I’m in a good position to judge this one. I recently ordered [MX297](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/mx297/) and ingredients for Steve’s ICM (the alpha-nol version), because I think I will only notice blatant hits like that until I get better at communicating in my new surroundings. I tend to get health-ruiningly busy for weeks at a time, so I hope I don’t offend anyone by posting something and then disappearing until after the thread dies. Now that I’ve thoroughly explained my situation, I welcome any and all advice! ---

Hi Zenan, welcome to the forum! Are you saying that you have had no results or effects from any of the products you’ve ordered? You can return any of the products that are not putatives or experimental mixes and egt your money back if they did not work for you. The best phero products for those just starting out are the social products, such as Instant Openess, [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) and Instant Shine. They are difficult to OD on, and have pretty blatant effects. Could you share a bit more info about your personality and communication skills? Are you shy or more outgoing? Do you have trouble initiating conversations, or trouble maintaining them? Also, what kinds of things are you wanting to use pheros for? Work? School? Romance? Friendships? What kinds of effects do you hope to see? ---

Thanks for the warm welcome, Kitty 🙂 I’ve tried Shine with Ammo and haven’t noticed anything, self or otherwise, but I haven’t done any going out looking to meet girls. I was introduced to some friends of friends who are girls, but they were far more interested in the members of the group that can actually speak their native language 🙂 I don’t intend to return anything. After reading all the reports, I am sure that the problem is with me and not the products. I don’t have any formal training in “Game” and only know some of the terminology from lurking this forum. My personality is naturally very relaxed and easy. In my home country, I could easily talk to strangers about whatever’s on my mind, but have never actually set my sights on a target and went in with some kind of plan. For me, conversations often drag on beyond when I would like to walk away, but maybe I should learn to smell more roses. If you would ask me to artificially maintain a conversation, I’m not sure if I have that sort of skill. In a group setting, I talk about as much as anyone else, and aim for a high fun-to-spoken-word value. Blue eyes paralyze me, but other than that I’m not socially intimidated, and have been known to say inappropriate things to people in high positions. I’m a terrible story teller, and often friends feel compelled to tell my must-hear stories for me. I feel that my life is kinda boring to talk about, especially my current career which I intend to leave as soon as I complete my degree. Besides that, I guess I have a few potentially interesting stories under my belt, but I don’t know if I could get excited enough about the past in general to get others excited about it 🙂 I’m not sure what to say about self confidence. I definately find that I can do anything I decide to do. I definately am likeable. I am optimistic, but not at all bubbly. I’m certain that I can get myself out of any trouble I find myself in. Being newly on the market, I wonder if my small height has a negative effect on the way people see me. Strangers only have so much to work with when forming a first impression. You ask what I want to use [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) for, and I feel a little silly that I haven’t thought about it. I think I’m just going through a phase where I want to start over new. I will certainly enjoy going out and looking for hits in a strange country. I feel that I can make and keep friends just fine, and people trust me, but I would love to see some funny behavior due to pheromone induced hits. For romance, I’m not sure what I can expect being in a foreign country, but a couple of my friends are interested in going out to meet girls, so I will join them and do the best I can, maybe read one of the recommended game books. ---

A lot of the guys here aren’t into that “Game” stuff, and “targeting” a girl, like a hunter or something, lol. Personally, as a girl, I find all the PUA stuff a bit inhuman, as though we are just objects with which to play these “games”. I would much rather hang out and be attracted to a guy for just himself, and not be a target for some totally premeditated “game”. Also, have you tested each product separately? Its important to get a feel for each product before combining them with others. Hi Zenan Welcome to Pherotalk I see your already off and testing. I think you should try your AMMO out in different environments. You mentioned you dont speak the native language which could have made some difference. Actually I dont think you had a OD on AMMO. I am thinking you may need something like TUTH. I have no research on high anone working better in France and I am going on intuition on this one. I just have a strong feeling TUTH will bring out the hits your looking for. I am also feeling that Ishine and IO wont do it in France. I feel IH would do well. Out of the advanced I would go with [P83](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p83/) to use with your TUTH and IH. It is hard to get in the swing of things and blend in with your peers when you move especially to a different culture but even if your not seeing the blatant hits just yet they will come. It can be hard to pick up on the subtle ones at first. Kitty gave you a great link on how to find your dosage and I would definitely recommend using this method. Thanks Kitty. I’ll take all of your advice. Out of the “Instant” Socials I chose Shine, somewhat at random, but maybe that wasn’t the best choice, especially since I already stand out enough here. I think I misunderstand what “Game” is. I somehow got the understanding that it is a way to melt ice with strangers of the opposite sex and open them up to you so they give you a chance. Tisha, I assumed OD because after the last spray I suddenly smelled bad. Maybe this “bad” smell is the androstenone finally making itself known, rather than an OD. I’ll try TUTH and IH. I wish I was intuitive. Is there a [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) for that? AD should bottle it and call it “Pheromonition.” I’m applying to neck, hair, and inner arms. I’m careful not to overlap two products unless the first is several-hours-old A314. ---
