Ok so this happened a little while ago but I figured i’d post it.
So I was taking this class a while back with a super strict professor. He gave really huge assignments each week and if you didn’t do it exactly to his liking you were verbally abused in front of the whole class (there were 10 people in the class so it was a pretty intimate setting). I was already pretty much on his bad side because I wasn’t really working up to his standards.
One day I just didn’t do any of the work I was supposed to do and I was kinda freaking out. I finally decided I may as well try some pheromones so i put on three drops of A314 (keep in mind I’m pretty young, its also the old version) before heading to class. By the time he is coming around to check everyones work it’s been about 45min-1hr since i applied the pheromones. He comes over to me and I just look at him and with a confident voice and say “I didn’t do it”. He looks at me kind of stunned for a second then just says “ok…well…make sure you have it for next time” and continues to the next person. I was so stunned at this point, I was trying so hard to stop smiling because I was so surprised.
After that, the class continues as normal. The T.A. for the class, who wasn’t there for the assignment checking, finally walked in and sat by the professor. Literally as the TA sat down the professor said out loud “Hey guess who didn’t do their work,” and told the T.A. it was me. It was weird cause it seemed like the professor was i guess intimidated by me when he was just coming around by himself, but as soon as he had the T.A. backing him up (even though the professor is the top authority of the class) he was able to call me out on it.
Either way it was a pretty interesting experience, and I definitely now know what to reach for if i get into a jam like this again.
