Hi all,
I’ve been using a lot of IG over the past couple of months and my findings into that product are well documented. I absolutely adore A314 and had been using it to wonderful effect ever since I first joined here, but was increasingly keen to try something which was a little less intimidating and more laid back…aka IG.
However, yesterday I thought I’d take a trip down memory lane and go with a super-masculine and classic combo of:
2 drops A314 (spread from chin to base of neck and under each ear) + cover scent of Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior.
A lot of people say that IG is A314 lite…I would broadly agree with that, although there is a deeper complexity to this product that is not captured in that description.
One thing I’ve noticed is that with IG (and I’ve asked my wife to observe as well), people look at you as being smooth, chilled and an all-round friendly guy (in keeping with the product description)…however, with A314, the “friendliness” disappears and is replaced by a “power” factor. Shit guys, this factor, if harnessed properly, is truly devastating. It can be sexual, professional, social, you name it. This was something I missed when using IG as intensively as I’ve done…I just noticed it now.
Observations:

Ordering a sub from a fast food place…I was the only one the lady made conversation with (i.e. how’s things with you, that’s a nice coat, where did you get such a crisp $50 bill from, etc…)

Virtually every person at the airport, sub sandwich place, taxi driver and hotel staff asking me how I was (could be coincidence, but not everyone asks me when I have IG on)

People hold the door open for me and those that forget, an apology comes almost immediately once they notice me (this is NOT a direct A314 effect as the contact is at best momentary, however, this is down to the self-effect that A314 gives you i.e. CONFIDENCE and ERECT POSTURE)

People smile less / less eye-contact…so not really good for those of you who are looking to pick up

IOI’s from all manner of people (seems more like “who’s that?” as opposed to “yum I want to jump him”)
Combined with Eau Sauvage, (which by the way, is a truly outstanding fragrance and in my opinion, one of the very few that can actually enhance the A314 impression) this package turns you into a classic gentleman, NOT a stallion / stud pick up machine.
On a personal level, I’ve noticed that my wife really loves it when I wear IG… but foams at the mouth (so to speak) when I wear A314. I guess it depends on the woman as well.
