Royale smells ok in the bottle. But once applied it’s mostly sandalwood.
Maybe it’s not suited for the climate here (86 to 97 degrees F; high humidity). I am a bit of a heat generator myself and I have sinusitis from time to time.
Maybe others can chip in and see if it smells like soap in cool climates but sandalwood in hot weather.
Not that it smells like soap - more that its scent strength settles to no stronger than a light scented soap by about 30mins after application.
Although heat/humidity will compound this a bit, yes. You could explore application under moisturiser and/or app points with a lower skin circulation in this situation.
