'Agricultural specialisterne': rural employment revolution for those with Autism

I have already mentioned the advantages of using bean bag chairs for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Another chair that provides sensory feedback to calm children with special needs, such as those with Cerebral Palsy or Autism Spectrum Disorders, is Freedom Concepts’ Chill Out Chair. The home edition of the Chair is said to eliminate compromising positions that such children may find themselves when sitting in bean bag chairs, being propped up with pillows on the sofa, or just lying around on the floor…

Four different foam densities have been incorporated throughout the Chill-Out Chair to give the proper amount of support where it is needed…

As mentioned above, the Chill-Out Chair is able to provide a hug or cocoon sensation especially when used with a weighted blanket, such as Protac’s Ball Blanket, or a compression cushion, and perhaps even a compression/weighted vest. No doubt a very calming effect for Autistic kids. Such combinations might also prove to be excellent ways to temporarily create focused, untroubled mindsets for learning and work in such individuals…
