First experience.
2 sprays of A314 plus 2 of IO.
Venue: informal music jam.
Observations: people generally friendly and talkative. Hard to tell if this is any different from normal as I do always make a point of trying to say ‘hello’ to as many people as possible at the start of the evening.
I sat next to a woman singer (who we’ll call ‘A’). (bit of background; we went on a few dates a while ago, she’s seeing someone else these days - we’ve sort of remained friends, but it’s felt a bit awkward).
I asked if I could join her and she said “I should be asking to join you” (I’d already put my instrument case and hat on the table). During the evening ‘A’ is much more talkative (and a bit flirty) than I’d expected and went out of her way to find her phone and show me pictures of some art work that she’s done. Now without doing a controlled experiment I can’t say if this was just normal behavior or not. Interesting though, and a good result in either case as she’s a lovely person (but someone who I’d much rather have and a good friend than a girlfriend - but I digress).
Second experience.
Same combination.
Venue: music jam.
As with the previous evening everyone was open and talkative, but then I’m a sociable guy. I sat with a lovely young fiddle player. She talked more than normal and we shared a few private jokes at the expense of some of the not-so-good singers. Again, hard to say if this was greatly different behaviour from normal.
So far and interesting research project (and one that involves spending evenings in the company of attractive and talented women - it’s a tough job..).
