Ammo & Gay Men

Been at work over 4 hours today and decided on a refresh as my next class was full of hot babes. I love teasing as well as being teased. Sorta a hobby. Closed my office door and zapped my crotch and neck with Ammo 1x. Opened door and two gay vocal majors walked by (tenors), stopped dead in their tracks and moaned in unison “Mr. Blank you smell incredibly good. Oh my God what is that?” Their facial expressions were that of utter shock. They kept looking back at me as they walked away. I got the feeling they wanted to eat me.

I’m rarely around gay men and this is the first obvious male reaction to pheromones–beyond respect and androstenol verbiage–so I too was surprised. I’ll remember not to wear Ammo if I ever end up in a gay bar.

The only other pheromone mix I got jaw dropping shocked vocal reactions to was Burberry Weekend mixed 5:1 with NPA. I often sprayed myself a couple minutes before picking up my date and she’d go ape-shit in the car. Usually she’d go on and on about how good it smelled and eventually start acting almost violently horny. Reminded me of an animal in a small cage bouncing off the walls. Something about a fresh spray…

Funny post. Not that I am around gay men much - a least that I know of - but I will have to remember that. Not really surprised I guess if you think about it in the light of some of the articles in the “Therory” section.

Reps.

Gotta remember that for job interview
But what if the interviewer is straight, may it make things worse ???

I’ve worn Ammo for about a year and have never experienced negative reactions from heterosexual men. They seem completely normal. Not any extra “respect” behavior like I get from A314 but pretty neutral and that’s a good thing.

So now I know why the gay waiter at the cafe across the road from work is always giving me discounts and always trying to flirt with me

My A314 and Ammo scents must be affecting him in, well, sort of a sexual?? way, sexual enough that he’s always super flirty and willing to give me a discount whenever I’m buying something.

I buy and sell used and collectable items. So every day I am shopping all the shows, flea markets, second hand and thrift stores as well as auctions. I have had many unexpected and otherwise unwarrented discounts on items I buy while sporting A 314. I get very good service and treated with the utmost courtesy. Every one wants to treat me special.

Hello to everybody!
It happened something like that to me too. I was clubbing and I was wearing Instant Shine and something else (I don’t remember, but is was a social), and some guys tried to stick to me. Ok, big respect for them, but I’m not very fond of them… That was the only time that something like this happend.

See ya

Franz

This is interesting as I had a similar experience a week ago. I went to a friend’s house for a little party he was having and one of our mutual friend (who is gay or bisexual, i forget) hugged me. this has become a normal thing for some reason…) and when he smelled the ammo i had recently sprayed on myself, he kind of went crazy and said “holy shit you smell delicious! hey, lauren, you HAVE to smell him, he smells sooooooooo good”. blah blah blah i eventually just walked away cuz i was meeting an ex-girlfriend of mine there to hang out with. so, yeah, it might just be the smell of ammo, it might be the pheros. i think i read that mystery boy is also ammo scented (by the way).

EDIT: No, that is not me in the picture, HAHAHA

I’ve often suspected gay men are either more sensitive to scent or, perhaps, more socialized to notice colognes and express themselves. Women are similar in this aspect. Straight guys tend to not notice, or can’t smell or are unwilling to react verbally to nice scents (socialization–afraid of appearing gay?).

When I spray AMMO, in the first five to ten minutes I get a “NONE RUSH”. It feels like a release of endorphins and a lot of dopamine neurotransmitters lighting up. They could of reacted strongly because of a quick altered state of conciousness induced by the androstenone. All the regular signals of attraction would be there eg: heart rate increase, pupil dilation, change of breathing pattern.

I’d say first off that there are homosexuals and homosexuals … meaning that while Ammo might be an attractive pheromix for some, for others it might do little. Yes, perhaps it is just the scent … same as MB … perhaps your “hits” came from guys positively associated to the same aroma but on someone wearing Mystery Boy.

Still, I doubt that it’s the scent.

In contrast, I suspect I’m around homosexuals more often than most of the posters here; I think it’s fair to say that some will respond erotically to Ammo just as straight females would, and that others will ~not~ respond: they might respond sexually to more feminine pheros on guys they would be seeking.

Hmm, there might be some compelling psychological implications in all of this. The DSM is waiting, hah.

I will definitely be careful. My school is a mere stone’s throw away from “The Village”. I have a weird history with run-ins with gay guys. I guess I have to especially be careful when my ammo comes in. heh

I don’t quite see how the DMS reference is meant; homosexuality isn’t considered a mental disorder … unless the individual is pathologically distressed by their sexual orientation.

And I don’t think you need to exercise too much care other than remembering to say “no” if and when the circumstance might arise. Virtually all gay men that I’ve met have a comprehensive disinterest in straight men … and even bisexuals are met with disdain a lot of the time. For the few who consider “straight conquests” a challenge or sport, I suspect you’d find them to be mostly regular guys, just with a different idea of what a fun night out is.

As far as it goes, the highly religious, strict “sinners must be punished”, older white heterosexual male is statistically much much more likely to molest a girl … his own daughter, often, than a gay guy is to try to take advantage of a 21 year old straight guy.

Unless, of course, he thinks you’re giving off “take my virginity” signals.

Better keep clear of hitchiking, though, if you’ve been getting a lot of gay hits / run-ins with gay guys … especially in rural areas, you know?

Very similiar thing for me also, was wearing 3 shots of shine, 2 shots of ammo and 2 shots of openness and a gay store clerk was trying to flirt with me and gave me a discount. Didnt mind too much due to the discount though :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, I guess DSM was a bad example, but my point was that if it seems that homosexuals are attracted by the same pheromones that attract women, then this would give credence to evidence that there is a genetic difference. I’m not sure if it is still in there, but in the DSM III homosexuality was viewed as a disorder.

Given some of the weird in things in the DSM (like video game addiction), I wouldn’t be surprised if homosexuality is still listed in there until there is some conclusive evidence getting it ousted.

It would be interesting to see if there is an actual difference in the perception of pheromones between straight and homosexual men.

Ask the Mental Health Expert Archives 2001-2004

I think the evidence is that there are material differences in how heterosexual and homosexual males respond to Androstadienone. Homosexual males .. as found by the noted study (see the Forum section here on theory) responded in the same manner as heterosexual females … this conclusion based on objective evaluation of brain activity scans, not anecdotes.

There’s not much more available, though.

And once again, I note that there are homosexuals and homosexuals … I suspect further research would show that some homosexual men respond very much to A1 while others might respond little or not at all … some responding to -none and others little or not at all.
