I used a spray called Contact 18 back in 1994. The effect was beyond imagination. The fragrance was not over overwhelming but you could certainly smell it and feel it on you and it was not a smelly ’ Aftershave style ’ . After a few months the fragrance changed and I wrote to the suppliers who advised that they had improved the product. All I can say is that it had the reverse effect and did not work. I always guessed that they reduced the quantity of Androsterone. The Bottle was also glass however the improved fragrance was in a plastic bottle ?? Not sure if this would have had an impacton the end result. Any guys out there who could recommend in their opinion the most effective products.

What sort of effects are you going for? Androtics has a lot of good stuff with varied uses and effects, so it’s best to have an understanding of where you want to go with them in order to suggest something to you.

After re-reading your post a little better (forgive me, I’m on hardcore pain meds from surgery I had Friday 
)) I see you mention that Contact 18 had androstenone. I’ve never heard of it myself, but my best guess is that Ammo or TUTH will be close. At 38, you should be okay with 2x strength Ammo.
Ammo is a balanced mix of androstenone and 2 other pheromones that help buffer the negative effects of androstenone. It’s sold as a pheromone cologne and as such can be used without cover. Some people find the scent to be pretty strong, so you can order unscented Ammo and cover however you wish.
TUTH is primarily androstenone and as such is more intense than Ammo. It has a lighter fragrance that just masks the -none smell (though you can detect it later on), and is safe to cover without too much fear of fragrance clash.

I can’t say there is really one best pheromone here - there is only the right pheromone for what you want to do.
As Data4 said, if you are looking for something with 'none in it then the two primary choices are Ammo and TUTH. Both have the same amount of 'none in the regular version but again Ammo is balanced to make it a little smoother plus it has a cologne scent. TUTH is straight 'none with a light scent package.
Per the ladies who have tried it on their guys, Ammo sends a messgae that says “I am interested” and TUTH says “I want to do you right now.” Also per the ladies - Ammo is the best choice to go out and meet someone. TUTH tends to puch women who don’t know you away. It is best to add it in when things are heading that way to keep it moving along.
