I have been reading a lot of reviews about the effects of pheromes and it seems they leave a sense of addiction on ones mind. Will it have any counter-effects if I intent to discontinue it in times to come

Although yes it is possible that some people will develop a psychological dependency on their pheros but that is a very different form of “addiction” or personality trait and not in any way related to the pheros themselves.
no, you can ‘quit’ anytime you want. You might miss them though. I certainly would but I’d get by without them just as I did before them.
