Biggest Pet Peeve

Lol!

I hate it when:
-people can’t park straight.
-people drive slow in the fast lane.
-people don’t leave space for people to make a right turn during the red light. -people try and squeeze in, before the light, blocking the intersection.

and that’s just driving..

But I don’t feel like bitching..

Another pet peeve of mine is having to wait for that stinkin’ burro that’s delivering the new Women’s MX pack that I ordered…HURRY UP DAMN IT!!!

Kids under the age of 17 wanting pheromones for more game! (three this week under 16)
Come on go play halo or something wait until you are 18 to go looking for sex!

Cell phones,
Especially in restaurants, offices, or other semi private settings where they ring and disturb everyone.

Morons who can’t handle the speeds of the expressway driving under the posted minimum speed limit.
try driving just below the posted speed limit and see how often you get run over, :open_mouth:

Totally agree with you on all counts! Hey kids. Finish high school. Go to college GET A JOB. Then worry about your game!

OMG try the x-way thing here in the motor city. Talk about road rage! Old people trying to merge onto the x-way at 35mph! Aaaahhhh!

Other countries accomplish this in a successful manner, why not in the USA?

continued…

When someone doesn’t close the bag inside the cereal box, and it goes stale. (also for chips)

When people wait at a yield sign and don’t realize they have their own lane to go into.

When someone wants to use your computer for a sec, and then after they are done, they close every window you had open.

When someone parks their car in front of my house, only to go across the street to visit one of my neighbors.

thats it for now.

This drives me NUTS too. It’s a wonder they have any enamel left on their teeth!

One of my biggest peeves is people who insist on blowing their nose in a restaurant. For god sakes… I DO NOT wish to hear SOMEONE else dislodge mucus from their nasal cavity whilst I’m busy eating! :open_mouth::open_mouth::open_mouth::open_mouth:

AllieCat

OMG, I have seriously come close to ralphing when my boss does that…

I hear ya, they getting younger and younger every day, today we got some more, lol.. when I was 15, I was more interested in Pokemon, rather then dating girls, lol

But dude, that was last summer (j/k)

I hate sitting at a stop sign waiting for a car coming down the road. Then at the last second they put on their signal light so it barely has time for 1 flash before they turn. Say that takes 5 seconds 3 times a day 6 days a week. That is well over an hour a year I spend sitting at stop sign/lights because people are stupid. You are going to signal, do it 5 seconds earlier so it actually means something.

At least so many people have left Detroit that there isn’t as much freeway congestion. There sure are some kooky drivers there though but not like L.A..

This hangover

…ppl who won’t AT LEAST do the speed limit & hold me back on the roads. I hate being held back, period.

ppl thinking they’re entitled to something. We aren’t entitled to anything in life… it’s what you make of it & it’s all a precious gift.

ppl who ask a question but don’t listen to the answer… and usually end up asking me the same question again. and I work in a technical call center!!!

ppl txting @ the movies - at least turn off the ringer & key tone, ppl!!!

one word… NEXTEL!! beep, beep. shut the hell up!!! I don’t want to listen to your conversation. Pick up the phone, dial a number & talk to the other person like you do at home. It’s not a new concept!!

pant, pant, pant… whew! I’m done now

Oh, yeah, SteveO… they suck too!!! (seem to be getting worse as I get older… or it might be that I’m drinking tequila more… baaaaaad juju!) lol

I take a couple of those Chaser pills before I drink and they seem to work. Maybe it is a placebo effect but I have had plenty of experience with hangovers and I think there is something to this stuff. Even if it is just a placebo effect I will pay the $2 for that. Last night I had 2 beers and 12 ryes and no hangover today. Last Saturday was 16 beers and no hangover.

One of my favorite lunch spots is Perry’s Deli down in the Chicago Loop; Perry has a loudspeaker system installed so that he can entertain the line (sometimes 30+ people waiting to order … the food is delicious, all cooked on site, hefty portions, very good prices, worth the wait.) Perry typically asks trivia questions and offers “A free stale pastry to the first person who can tell me …”

But there are signs at the door and on all four walls indicating that cell phone use is forbidden within. Anyone seen talking on a phone … or not silencing a ringing cell … and Perry is on the loudhailer intoning “Sir, it’s time for you to leave the premises … you are obviously much too important to be eating here.”

He does not tolerate the cell game in his place. People typically applaud when he boots a violator. I wonder why more places don’t follow his example.

I find phones, in general, invasive. Especially if I’m somewhat disconnected from responsibilities…like at a concert or out to dinner in a nice quiet restaurant. If you must, then silence it and if you do have to take the call, excuse yourself and make it quick. Really, if you’re on call, go to the cafeteria to eat, mkay? I hate being a slave to the point that people can reach me anytime/anywhere when the spirit moves them. WTF is so important? Please don’t call and tell me.

That is awesome. Perry is one cool dude.

A lot of places have put up signs, especially places that deal mostly with lots of volume, though they don’t enforce it in a such a humorous way, I don’t think..

I’ve asked myself that many times, and the answer is always, how mad at myself would I be if I a friend or family tried to contact me over an emergency and so forth..most likely I couldn’t ever leave the side of a communication device :stuck_out_tongue:..I’d be too scarred. But uh…barring that, I do love to leave my phone aside.

OK OK…sheesh. Seriously, I didn’t say I leave the f*cking thing behind. I just don’t like having to be a slave to it for freakin’ nonsense. If somebody’s been hit by an eighteen wheeler, yes, call. If you’ve just had your nails done, please spare me.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. If it was really serious and you missed the call I can see where you could be scarred.

Hater of the hangover! Two PMs wake up with a Alka Seltzer Morning Relief - or wait it is called Alka Seltzer Wake Up Call now. I swear by it…:stuck_out_tongue: I LOVE this shit. It really works wonders for me and many of my friends. Not that I ever drink or have a hangover - oh wait two martinis and a few pinos…
