Hi, James.
There seems to be more and more evidence that points to this fact. Personally, I never took the pill. Maybe that’s why I still like my husband…lol. We’ve always joked that we’re together because of the way we don’t smell to one another. And, as we now know, this is essentially true…it’s how we do and don’t smell that’s attractive. Not fer nothin’ but I’ve never been really attracted to my “own kind” so to speak. The few men I dated that we’re of the same ethnicity, just weren’t for me. Of course, at the time, I had no idea why. Still early on, even as a kid,
I knew I’d never marry one. I think when people get turned off to others, for no apparent/good reason, it doesn’t/wouldn’t occur to them (unless that individual is really stinkin’!) that it’s their smell that’s turning them off as far as sexual attraction. They can’t pinpoint it but for some reason just aren’t attracted in that way. Am I on track here, James? Seems the use of the pill bears serious consideration in the scheme of life and success in love and marriage. Just when so many young women are on the pill, for obvious concerns, and looking for mates…is the time when they should be off the pill. And what was that about the pill causing permanent loss of sex drive?
Am I correct that men are also conversely effected by a woman when she goes off the pill…does he, too, wonder WTF?..how/why did I marry this woman?..and have the same negative sort of feelings toward her, that she has toward him? It makes sense. These people don’t know what hit them. It’s like they passed out, woke up and don’t remember how they got there. No wonder they’re confused. It may explain the real cause of so many broken marriages. So many things about the pill have serious implications. A necessary evil of modern times? What price to pay? As far as the pill and what it’s good for…IMO…prevention of unwanted pregnancies, yes…sexual freedom?..notsomuch, anymore…too many sexually transmitted diseases to go without additional protection.
Bella
I think for menstrual issues, there are better ways to heal that then taking the pill. So it’s kind of sad that so many women take it when they are single and obviously don’t need it for birth control and then end up with the wrong guy, ![]()
