The California governor has come up with a brilliant idea. Since the “leaders” can’t come up with a budget,f%*K the workers.
Well. . .there’s one way to go about it.

He signed the order today.
Lucky for me University employees are exempt.![]()
What a load of horseshit. Like the article said, don’t cut the worker’s wages, cut the legislator’s wages. They’re already receiving way more than minimum wage..if the legislators are really in it to help Californians, they should have no issue with taking a temporary pay cut with a followup payment once they figure out the budget..
That’s seems highly Unfair ![]()
Yeah that’s gotta suck for the workers out in CA.
But I suppose that’s what happens when you vote the star of “Conan the Barbarian”, and “Kindergarten Cop” into office. …I mean if you absolutely have to elect an actor as your governor perhaps you shouldn’t vote the one whose best known for playing a murderous cyborg from the future.
I suppose it could be worse. After all we voted the star of “Bedtime for Bonzo” as our first “acting” governor.
OK, first off I agree that Arnold’s decision was absolutely horrible, and is going to hurt a whole lot of people who have nothing to do with the budget.
Had he cut the politicians pay, I have a feeling that an emergency session would have been called and they would have worked their asses off untill they had an acceptable budget.
On another note, I loved Ronnie! Besides, the whole country voted for him…TWICE! ![]()
I guess Arnold figured the best way to get rid of the current California Legislature was to turn the people against them. I have a feeling that in the next State elections there’s going to be a mass Exodus of politicians.
Note that the Governator is termed out. He can’t run again.![]()
I have a sneaky suspicion the state legislature thought this was a bluff and Arnie followed through to trump their call. Expect it to last no more than a week.

If you agree to pay people a certain amount of money you should stick to it in my opinion.
However, the writers of the editorial don’t seem to grasp the fact that it isn’t free money, it comes from other peoples taxes. Those other people also need to pay rent and utilities.
