Can Cold Damage Pheromones?

Hey all,

Just wondering if cold can damage pheromones…

I live in the north where it’s below 20 degrees on a daily basis and I’m wondering if during delivery of the products they could be damaged by the cold? When I got my first and second delivery all the bottles were very cold upon arrival…

I would think the cold would preserve things better than heat… and pheromones shouldn’t be any exception (unless it’s liquid nitrogen temperatures)…

You’re fine, I keep mones in my car all year long. I’ve had em in there through a winter a summer and now winter again, I haven’t noticed any loss in effectiveness.

Absolutely not… I store everything I have in the refrigerator and the freezer

Na. I keep a few in my truck at work and it’s in the twenties right now. A314 is a bit sluggish coming out of the bottle but otherwise everything else works fine.

Should Be Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

That Reminds Me…I Got To Order Some Instant G-Man.

Thanks for the responses guys

We didn’t want to leave you… sunglasses… out in the cold.

Its heat not cold that damages them. Do not leave them in your car in the summer. I evaporated more bottles that way then I care to admit.

Tisha

Does heat cause any damage other than evaporation? It can get pretty hot here in the tri-state area in summer, so should I refrigerate my mones…?

Ice crystals can destroy some substances but pheromones as relatively small molecules that should have no problem.

Considering the solvent is denatured alcohol (SD40/SD38) their freezing temps are lower than anywhere in the north you would experience anyway. Either way its fine unless you’re taking a trip to antarctica or space.

Avoid extreme heat.. ideal temperature for storage around 5 c to 30 c degrees…

…:open_mouth:

I lol’d.
