i’m sure i’ve made my opinions about A314 irritatingly clear ad nauseum. in other words, never any effects around people. For some reason i’m only now remembering that that i used a drop or 2 one night when going to some guys house with a mutual acquaintance to watch the most recent UFC fight. i knew nothing about this guy so I didn’t expect to be greeted at the door by a snarling 947lb rottweiler. (picture those glowing eyed gargoyle creatures from the first ghostbusters movie.) maybe a good five seconds or so after the thing starts sniffing my forearms it wants to be my best friend. snarling and tooth bearing immediately stops, and it won’t take its eyes off me in a friendly way for the rest of the night. the thing was licking my hand and trying to be a lap dog despite the fact that it weighs as much as a '65 mustang fastback. people say if you don’t act nervous or anxious around dogs that they’ll treat you with more respect, but the dog wouldn’t even pay attention to anyone else in the room! can animals be influenced by these pheromones, or do rottweilers just like the smell of akuto?
What’s up Q?![]()
I am going to go back and check on this, I’ve read that pheromones affect animals the most because, in short, are more reliant on smell/scent.
Human and dog pheromones are similar. Other people have reported strong hits from dogs with the respect pheros like A314. Also remember that humans ‘created’ dogs by breeding them, so when humans domesticated dogs they would have unconsciously selected dogs which responded to human pheromones.
Don’t forget horses. There are a couple of post about horses here and in the archives over at LS.
I’ve gotten the best hits off dogs, cats and children. Unlike adult humans, they don’t hold back or filter their reactions. What you see is what it is. Dogs and little kids especially love me on moans.
With one drop NPA the dogs are bark. With more than one drop I don’t have that phenomenon… ![]()

The bad MX353 smell is a really mosquito magnet…
I have 2 dogs and 2 rabbits. The dogs ( both males ) tend to be more alert when I wear A314. The rabbits (both female) dont react to A314. They go apes-sh*t for p74 tho. If I get close to them with that they run and “frolic” back and forth. Don’t know why. Wondering if its a gender thing or a species thing. Also they all have the same effect when I use IS, they piss a lot. DOn’t know if its just coincidence. Just thought I’d share.
Yeah.. I am not a big fan of A314 either.
Yes they can effect some animals. Your pheromone signature is telling them something about you which is why dogs have always been good judges in character.
Alpha mones will generally do two things. Have them submitting to your Alpha or if its a strong willed Alpha male dog he may challenge if he finds your threat to his family or himself.
There is one thing you need to watch for that is mentioned more then once here on the forum.
If you have animals do not surprised them with your new pheromone signature. Make sure they get a clear visual of you and hear your voice the first few times you wear it so they can make the association to you.
There have been members whose own animals have lunged for them before realizing who they were because they carelessly approached them by surprize or from behind with there mones on. The dog knows you by your natural pheromonal scent and when you change it, it registers a stranger approaching until they can make that visual or auditory identification.

“Local Man Mauled By His Own Dog After Trying Pheromones”
LOL I wouldnt go that far. ![]()
Once they make the visual and hear your voice its ok but I know its happened more then once. My dog has come after me a few times. Lor’s dog almost took her out. She had a big rottweiler type I believe. Never lunged at her before and didnt stop till she yelled its name a few times and it looked right at her. It can be worse for the males to because they wear the alpha signatures more.
Its better to be safe then sorry.

Do you think this also happens if the dog sees you as the actual pack leader instead of himself?
Or do they NEED to hear your voice(tone resonance) to identify you? I guess the smell must be really disorted with the moans
I wore my shocker mix around my friends dog one time. It includes 3 drops A314 and 7.5mcg TUTH (with some other stuff). At the beginning of the night the dog was absolutely terrified of me. It literally ran and hid in my friends closet, and he said it’s never done anything like that before. And it’s a Lab, and anyone that knows anything about dogs knows that Labs are the friendliest dogs in the world. We went out and when we got back he went from being scared to being straight aggressive and flat out pissed. Barking at me, showing teeth, the works. My friend had to lock it in his cage.
