What do you get when you cross the highly co-operative MX272 with A314, a sour economy and a dealer show? Enough cash back to pay for an entire pheromone habit in one day.
OK, a brief explanation of a dealer trade show for non-retailers. A wholesaler rents a large post industrial space and invites all it’s customers to a big sale and then charges manufacturers to exhibit their wares and make deals directly with the wholesaler’s customers. One of the popular sales gimmicks is to give a percentage of the sale back to the buyer in cash on the spot. This is usually determined by the size of the purchase. For instance if I buy $3000 worth of goods from brand x I get 2% of the purchase ($60) back as “pre-profit”. If I buy $7000, I get 5% ($350) on the spot. Now one of the bargaining points is trying to get bumped to the next level for instance I only need $5500 of brand x’s stuff so I might ask for 5% anyway. Most of the time this ploy fails unless you are very close to the next level and you are a very good customer of that manufacturer.
The poor economic conditions have to be considered, but I got “bumped” every time I asked for it the last two days wearing 3 sprays MX272 and 2 drops A314. Normally I would have gotten a lot of “Oh, I’m sorry but I just don’t think I can get away with it. Can you add such and such to your order? Maybe I can make it happen”. Instead I got “Hey, you know what…SOLD! Let me make that happen.” I walked away from the trade show with enough extra to pay for my entire phero habit to date.
So for anybody wondering if pheromones can really pay for themselves…Hell yeah, I just did it.
Hey Tye, I was hoping the AMMO 7 pack would have some mixes similar to 271-3. I think it does share some character but so far I’ve tested up to MX279 and only get fleeting glimpses of MX272 like co-operativeness. Not sure what happened with those three mixes but they were pulled from the store very quickly despite reports from several of us that they were really good mixes. I remember you and Tmoz and some others making reports on them. Well i guess that’s life in pheroland.
OK I checked with the LAB and MX272 will be available by next Wednesday as a retro. I’ll have the lab make about 50, but we will have to limit them to ensure people get them. Maybe if we can get some reports it can come back more often
