I’m trying to figure out what to do with my future as i just graduated college
I’m applying for Marine Corps aviation program…wanna be a Fighter Pilot!
Other option is Spec Ops. I was planning on being an Army Ranger for the longest time and got in such good physical shape and now I’m thinkin maybe being a pilot could be fun too.
If you want to fly fighter aircraft, why restrict to one branch of the Armed Forces? I’m not American, but I’m pretty sure all branches of the USA Armed Forces use aircraft.
I would imagine it’s the best of both worlds. The dashing romantic sort of stereotype women associate with “fly boys” ever since Top Gun, and the tough guy mystique of being a Marine.
Dude, it is not true. Having done ROTC and deployment and all the stuff myself, it is totally not true. I know MANY army and marine guys who feel lonely often. For whatever reason, many military guys tend to attract gold diggers, lowly educated, not so trustworthy girls. Maybe, it goes both ways, since these guys always go for the hottest AND easiest ones.
When it comes to attracting females and dating, you can’t ever have enough arsenal. The more the better. Someone once told me You cannot EVER be attractive enough, when it comes to the dating world. I would say that mones are definitely a top 10 attracting tool, even top 5, depending on situations.
Imagine being tall, handsome, nice-skinned, muscular, intelligent, rich, powerful, well-educated, prestigious, sociable, charming, influential, charismatic, athletic, and so on. On top of that, have a screaming phero sig… wow… However, NO ONE… I mean NO ONE has it all. Just having 75% of them puts you in top 0.5 to 2% of male population in the world. Most average guys have ~ 20 to 30% of these “hot stuffs” that pull in women.
I don’t know about the lonliness. My brother flew the FA-18 Hornet in the Navy and those guys had women every day by the dozens at their house where ever they lived. I would say it’s like anything else, relative to the individuals.
Dude I was getting IOI’s when I was out in the west coast, and this was pre-mones, cause I looked like a Marine.
I was getting questions asked all the time if I was and being opened up by women, and pretty damn hot ones at that.
I have too much respect for the boys in uniform to say I was, even though I know enough I coulda probably pulled it up.
But being in the military, everyone views you as a protector. Being an aviator, gives that bad boy appeal. Who would seriously want to subject themselves to hours and hours of training, landing a 30 million dollar jet, in the middle of the night, to a runway the size of a football field, with a pitching deck?
Women find them the ones to take on dangerous shit and love every minute of it.
I am not trying to say that one will be lonely when he is in the military… I am trying to point out that you still need some GAME and be able to talk to girls. Just like not all rich or famous guys get girls, it even holds true for some Marines, Navy Seals or special forces.
They are not entitled to anything and should not be. They still have to put in SOME effort, just like mone-wearing guys
Plus, these kind of stuff don’t seem to impress very gorgeous, educated AND sophisticated girls. They want security, proximity and trust from guys… this proximity thing usually gets in the way while serving. Moreover, too many drunken, player-wannabe guys in the Army make these women become cautious of military guys.
Oh no, don’t get me wrong. It is most definitely what I want to do. I personally can’t imagine any other job that I would enjoy more than the military jobs i’m pursuing.
I actually started the thread to see what other people’s opinions were on what they think would be their dream job, not if they thought my idea was cool.
