cover scent wears off to soon

Do you guys have the problem of your cover scents wearing off too soon? It seems the pheros stick around a lot longer. I have used Armani code, acqua Di Gio, All the Burberry scents, valentino(I like this one) and polo double black. I don’t want to be a colonge bomb and be offensive. :open_mouth: Any ideas? Or do I just have to touch up during the nite?

Actually it’s mainly androstenone that ripens with age. Carry a wee bit of your fav cologne in a Sephora atomizer and zap yourself as needed.

Honestly, I dont think its a huge issue. I only really smell the phero’s when I first put them on, and I don’t even find them all that bad. I say, if you want to freshen up your smell, just put some ammo on which is scented.

So far, it seems like if you cant smell the cover you cant smell the phero’s. Thats me

Great idea thanks Gegogi!

I got this from Tater, and it works wonderfully for me. If the pheros you’re using are non-cologne, i.e. no cover scent mixed in them, try compositing some with a bit of cologne and letting it sit in a drawer for a couple of days. I do this with Issey Miyake Intense and NPA, which is basically androstenone, and I never smell the -none at all, ever. It also seems to increase the life of the cologne by a factor of at least 50%. I’m not sure if it’s unique to IM, so your mileage may vary.

Good ones to try this with are Instant Female Magic, Instant Shine, Instant Honesty, Instant Openness, and Turn Up The Heat, as well as any of the putatives and MX’s that aren’t premixed with a scent.

I can’t help you with ratios at this time, as I haven’t played around too much with my own custom mixes. Most of the time, I just layer products-- 2 sprays of this, 3 sprays of that, 2 drops of this, etc. The only one I composite is cologne and NPA in a 5:1 ratio. Recently, I did add 1 part of MX269, which is part of an MX “amplifier pack”. I’m going to guess that it’s based around P79, which by itself is regarded as an amplifier/enhancer for other pheros. Take the time to read through Tater’s journal. It’s a long, long read, but very informative and Tater’s wit makes for easy reading.
