I think the same concepts should and could be applied to the products used here on androtics, and we could rate each product on a sort of spectrum scale based on the nature of its effects. The spectrum would be a dominant/aggressive extreme on one side (what you would clasify as red), a comforting/inviting extreme at the other(what you would classify as blue), with perhaps a social/neutral in the middle (purple?). In between the two extremes, there would be a broad spectrum into which products would fall…some more on the aggressive side, some more on the comforting side.
I don’t have much experience with the putatives and experimental mixes, so here’s my take on the “official” releases. Incidentally, the products that sit on the extremes of the spectrum, are rarely ever used as standalones.

In building sexual mixes, its faulty to assume that the ideal sexual side sits more on one side or the other. The perception of what is more sexually stimulating is highly dependent on our inherent personality and physical characteristics (blood type as well), the personality and physical characteristics of our targets, the nature of our interaction with our targets (ie Date vs first approach), and the contextual environment in which the mones will be worn (ie club/social - sexual vs date/intimate). What’s sexually ideal in one situation, could be an absolute bust in another.
The trick is to consciously aim for an ideal spot for a mix to land in the overall spectrum of effects, depending on the afformentioned variables. Think of what kind of effect (position in the spectrum) that would be most beneficial, depending on the circumstances of the interactions you’ll have throughout the day. Build a mix that complements your own characteristics in such a way that brings you closer to that ideal spot.
My recent trials have led me to realize that overly complicated mixes can actually work against a person if they don’t know what they’re doing. When we incorporate too many products into a mix, we run the risk of creating an overly clouded phero signal that fails to create a strong centralized impression. For this reason, its much easier to find a sweet spot with our mixes if we use fewer products.
That isn’t to say that overly complicated mixes don’t work, however there needs to be a centralized type of effect that a mix concentrates on. An arbitrarily selected group of products lacks focus, and successful mixes tend to benefit from a highly focused effect being projected at precisely the right time. A variety of other products can help complement a centralized effect, but they should not be incorporated to an extent that diminishes the ideal effect that we’re going for.
ok I got kinda carried away with that lol
