Forex can be a very tricky field unless you are well versed and can read trends like nobodies business. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have disposable income and a while to get yourself familiar with it.
There are plenty of demo accounts available to practice without risking your own money.
I’ve always found the difference between a fake money account and real money is vastly different. Just like playing poker, when you you play with valueless chips you act and think differently than when playing with real money. Most guys play these games like zinga and pokerstars and the likes and join the free rolls. They take risks because there is nothing to lose. It might give you a slight ability to understand the transactions better, but when its your money on the line most of those risks would never be taken.
More times at the casino’s when guys saunter up to the poker tables like they’re a Phil Ivey, because they have played and won millions of fake money, they get their asses handed to them. I encourage them to continue to play with fake money, because it gives me a huge advantage over them, especially at the end of the night when I’m counting their very real money they have lost to me.
Again good idea in concept and to give you some basics. but go into it understanding its very different than using real money.

You make money off people’s stupidity. That’s the general summary of trading.
It’s an emotional game, not a logical one.
