Dial Magnetic causing patches of hair growth?

Hello,

I’m new here and I wasn’t sure where to share this…issue I’ve been having…

Long story short, around 2 months ago I went to my local wal mart and saw this “Dial magnetic pheromone infused” body wash on sale… seeing as it was the only body wash in stock at the time and it was cheap I got 2 bottles. I have been using it for the past 2 months.

On the “attraction” side I can’t say I have noticed anything out of the ordinary, but I didn’t really get the body wash for that, I don’t actually use pheromone products and when I got the body wash I just thought it was a nice plus. I really like the smell of it though.

Anyways, fast forward a few weeks, I notice a new patch of hair on my back, just below the neck… I sort of ignored it. Kept minding my own business.

Fast forward to a few days ago, I get out of the shower and notice that the patch of hair is bigger, AND I notice 2 new patches on my lower back, and on the top my shoulders. This is where I began to worry, I’ve never had hair on my back and i’m 23 years old. So I kept thinking about the cause and thought maybe it could be the effect of a hormonal imbalance or something. I already made an appointment with the doctor because its way too weird.

Thing is, I kept looking at myself on the mirror and looked at the location of the patches, and noticed a few things, they are virtually symmetrical and have a “curved” shaped to them. This is when it hit me… I grabbed my sponge and “simulated” scraping my back and the patches of hair are EXACTLY as far as my hand can reach, on both sides. The next day I took a shower like everyday and paid close attention on how I use the sponge on my body and I noticed that the places where I have patches or hair are the ones where I scrape hardest.

It’s reaaaally odd, so this is why I came here to ask. I haven’t found anything on the internet related to pheromones causing unwanted hair growth though. So maybe you guys know something in the matter…

Is this even possible? I’m still going to the doctor since its very weird. But the patches of hair are too perfectly localized and thats what boggles my mind.

What do you guys think?

Anyone else continually using this body wash?

Thanks for your attention.

-Andrew

I don’t know but your report is seriously tempting me to order a few bottles and try using it as a shampoo!

Hey Andrew, that is a weird problem you’ve got! When is your doctor’s appointment? Don’t forget to bring the Dial with you!

Now, I’ve NOT used Dial Magnetic… the product I use from Dial is called 3D… no mones in it. Sorry about your predicament, bud! I’ve read up on some users here who have used Dial Magnetic so we’ll just wait for them to come around and give there opines…

On a lighter note, If you have a hair loss problem on your head, Will Dial Magnetic help grow hair on your noggin?! That WOULD BE A MONEY MAKER!!!

haha, would be nice if it really worked for hair loss…

My doctors appointment is next monday, he is gonna be out of town so thats the reason for the long wait, but yeah i’m gonna tell him about it…

It’s so odd looking at my back and my shoulders, I really hope its not anything serious. But like I said, the spots are perfectly localized lol…

Sigh why do odd things always happen to me…

I’ve been using Dial magnetic for the last 2 months and have not noticed any unusual hair growth in any spots.

However there comes a time in a mans life when he gets older and starts to immitate his favorite animal of all the “wookiee”. You will notice strange feelings and hair will grow in funny places…lol ok I’ll shut up now but I seriously have never had this issue and I use the stuff every 2 - 3 days and have been doing so for over 2 months

damn lol…

Well I have been religiously using it daily for the past few weeks, I also take showers with really hot water so maybe its really getting in there haha

I doubt they would sell a body wash that wasn’t safe to use daily and it could also be genetic like some guys cant grow a full beard till they are 30+. and till then it will grow in thick in some places and not at all in others. Best bet would be to talk to your dad about hair growth then see a doctor. lol

Hmm this is strange because A1 which is what is in Dial Magnetic causes hair loss. You need to use enough to absorb higher then normal amounts into the blood stream or ingest it for this to occur though. There are reports of redistribution of hair though but this usually occurs to females when the estrogen reacts with the A1. They report hair growth to face.

I wonder if anything else in there could be causing it. I will have to check the bottle to see what else is in there.

Do see your doctor but dont panic. I think what intrigued suggested is good to in case you have a hairy back family history.

Dont worry yourself about it though. If it is the Dial then just stop using it and hair can easily be removed. If it was the dial and you stopped it should not keep growing.

LMAO! Ima have to get my uncle some of this and tell him too scrub his head real hard hahahaha

I appreciate your reply!

My brother has a hairy back but I don’t think my father does… anyways, I think i’m gonna wait to see what the doctor says first and after that I can look more into the issue and see if its Dial whats causing it.

I’ll try and get a pic but meanwhile heres a really rough paint drawing of how it looks:

Don’t laugh!

Well is your brother using Dial magnetic to ? If you leave it in the shower he may be.

If not then its probably hereditary. Ask your dad and mom if your grandfather’s had hairy backs. Some things skip a generation so your parents may not have it but grandparents do. Baldness tends to work that way as well. I would find out this info before going to the Doctor because he will probably ask it anyways.

Like I mentioned though getting rid of hair is not hard. It may be a pain in the butt time wise but there are tons of methods for getting rid of it and some that even get rid of it forever. At least you dont have a problem growing hair so it could be worse. I do suggest getting rid of it though. Back hair, nose hair and ear hair all big no no’s if your looking to attract women

Tisha

Man, here I’ve been combing my nose hair out this whole time…I guess those long stares weren’t IOIs after all lol.
