Diary of a New Man

I read the whole thing. Cool stuff!

I’ve had to rethink Ammo lately.

When I first got it, months ago, I tried 2 sprays of it and thought I was ODing and getting ghosted, when the real problem was that I was sort of quietly walking around looking for peoples’ reactions and most likely coming off as a creep in the process.
I suppose this could’ve been a sort of “self-effect”, even though no other products ever really had effects on me. Instant Shine, MX297, all the stuff people on the forum claimed to almost get headrushes from, I never experienced.

Anyway, that was then; this is now.
I now know enough to throw Ammo on and act like a regular person
2 sprays is fine, and I think I might give 3 a shot soon. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon. I feel like that’s gonna be an OD, though, considering that I’m 18, and workout almost every day.

But who knows? Maybe it’ll work.

Non-pheromone-related occurence, just felt like sharing

I was in school today, wearing a t-shirt just to break some of the monotony of winter, and I couldn’t help but noticing that my arms looked REALLY different compared to everybody else’s skin. It’s almost a light tan, slightly orange-ish, but not gross, just sort of “glowing”, if that makes sense.

The past couple months, I’ve started being healthier. I take two vitamins (One-A-Day Men’s Pro Edge and Nioxin) everyday, I drink 2321 mLs of water, eat a very high-protein diet with little to no junk food, and workout six days a week.

I’m wondering if this is actually a side effect of being a healthier person in comparison to my peers. Definitely interesting, and I wonder if people notice this kind of stuff. I had a suspicion that perhaps I was taking in too much Vitamin A, but I don’t think I am. It’s not Rob-Schneider-fake-tan, it’s like that nice retouching effect that they edit onto celebrities’ magazine pictures.

Weird. Anyway, mones are going great! Gonna place an order for a 30ml Ammo and a 30ml Instant Shine 4X soon!

I’ve been reading Ricky Martin’s autobiography the past few days, and it’s really good.

It’s really compelled me to think about myself. I’m gonna talk private emotions here for a sec, for no easily tangible reason; I just feel like writing it down.

I’m a senior in high school, and I’ve been pressured from almost every direction for a good while to choose a career, but I’ve never been able to happily settle on something. In the back of my head, I’ve always sort of known what I was born to do, and that was performing. Acting, singing, working crowds, writing and design, I love these things.
But to become an actor or a musician… it’s always been a discouraged idea, by myself as well as all the skeptics I’m around. There just doesn’t seem to be a way in, like other vocations.
People tend to dismiss the notion entirely; they don’t exactly have reps looking for actors at college fairs!
In the book, Ricky talks about how his mother knew, without a doubt, that he belonged on stage, even when he flat-out denied it. Later, he learned (with some reluctance) that being a performer, was simply who he was, and entertaining people was what gave him fulfillment.
The way he writes and describes the feelings of being onstage, and working to create something that will bring joy to millions of people, is great, and the more I read, the more I kind of realize that I’m the same way. I don’t want to work in a hospital.

I don’t know, but this just feels right to me. At least for now, I’ll say it: I want to make movies!

So make movies then…. Start taking acting classes, start performing, start doing community theater, the point being: START!

Their your dreams. Nobody has any right to be in them unless you’ve invited them in.

I plan to.

There’s something amazing about knowing what you want to do, but actively denying it, and looking for alternatives. Then you sort of give yourself permission to do what you love. Really weird, but I like it! Feels good!
