I have bought Michael Storer’s cologne set in December, and have only recently tried out Djin. In the description of the package, it says something like “causes hypnotic effects”. I thought it was just a marketing method, and didn’t really think about it much at the time. I used 2 applications on my neck and after 5 mins elapsed, I started getting buzzed and feeling high, and zoning out. It was a rather unpleasant feeling, and gave me a slight headache afterwords. I didn’t mind the incense scent to it, but the effects were too strong for me. I don’t think I am going to use this product anymore, and I just used it once. What a waste. :o
I left a message for you on your profile page
Djin is not supposed to induce any effects rev. The smell is a little strong if you over spray it though, so maybe that’s what happened.
Maybe it is maybe it isn’t. Scents cause a variety of reactions in people, and just because it doesn’t contain pheromones “proper” doesn’t mean that something in the cologne does not act as a pheromone “analog.”
I seem to recall at least one post from M.Storer in which he stated that one of the raw scents used was remarkably similar in scent to a certain out of stock female relaxant.
Well, I didn’t feel anything when I wore it but perhaps, I suppose? Who knows? I will ask Michael for his insight next time I talk to him, maybe there is something in it? But if it is, it’s not listed in the perfume notes. I do know Michael is a great perfumer with some great knowledge up his sleeves though!
weird…Catlord also noticed a similar feeling when he overapplied it
. It definately got me buzzed with the “high” type of feeling. I brain was unable to function properly. That’s how extreme it was. ![]()
I did not experience a buzz effect.
Just another data point.
Not having tried out Mr. Storer’s products yet, I can only offer this bit of advice: Don’t discount it yet! You said you used 2… sprays? Dabs? I’m not sure how it’s packaged. Whatever the case, try only 1 next time. Also, consider the usual advice given with regard to pheromones that have possible negative self-effects, like IFM. Apply it on a location where it doesn’t zoom straight up your nose, like your wrists or the back of your neck.
Don’t give up on it yet. Lighten your app amounts and gradually acclimate yourself to it. Let us know if you try and if your perceptions change. I’m going to be ordering a sample pack pretty soon, and I’m interested in as many reviews on the different scents as I can find.

Lol, I already made a trade for another sample of a different scent product from a member of another site.
…Sorry
For the samples of Mr. Storer’s scents, it is dabs btw, and not sprays. There is a thin plastic wand attached to the cap that you use to spread it on your skin.
