i am finally back in the community after a long hiatus (life.. gotta love it).. and i am happy to be back!!
im just wondering.. my stash of phero’s from a while back (purchased in 2007) hasnt been fully used yet (still have half a bottle of IG and IS, and 1/4 bottle of A314).. im just wondering, do the molecules denature after a certain period of time (expire), or do they remain intact and maintain their efficacy??
from what i can tell, especially with my IG, it still smells the same, with that distinct pheromone smell after dry-down (can anyone else smell that, or is it just me?).. but im no expert in chemistry, so there might be other things to consider..
also, it may be off topic, but ever since 2007, i’ve wanted to give spaceland a shot.. back then, you needed to have a certain amount of experience with pheromones to purchase it, as it wasn’t for sale to just anyone.. is it still the same for this product?
now im definately not inexperienced (i think my threads from back in '07 are still on this site..), i’ve just fallen behind my fellow colleagues who also joined back then..
i was able to purchase spaceland back then, but now since it has been such a long time, does my experience with peromones still count? or do i have to start from scratch?? i would really like to catch up in terms of experience.. but i would really would like not having to wait before i can start using experimental mixes..
yea.. they’ve been in a cool dark place all this time (in a metal box, which i had stored in my wardrobe).. so they must be ok..

and it also seems that they dont make spaceland anymore.. the store only seems to sell the togo sized bottle now, and that is out of stock!! can anyone confirm that it has been discontinued?? would it ever be revived??
Welcome back! A lot has changed I’m sure since then! Spaceland I’m FAIRLY sure is merely out of stock, and should be back sometime. I have a togo I may be willing to trade, along with other things, look in my sig. I’ll take GC’s as well.
And about the diffusion… that’s somewhat disturbing to me, as I keep my pheros in a backpack which heats up decently in a car which heats up a ton. Its a sports car with black leather interior, so you know how it can get. Thankfully its starting to get cooler… and thankfully I bought a windshield shade (even though it doesn’t seem to do a whole lot) before I started keeping them there every day, but then again I’VE BEEN KEEPING THEM THERE EVERY DAY if that makes sense. I have noticed a slight decrease in effectiveness lately, but I’ve been putting that down to the nature of the mix I’ve been using, along with my own congruence (or lack thereof). Perhaps its neither, although I have a feeling its a combination of all three. I’d have to use the mix on someone I haven’t tried it on in a while… which is difficult in the situation I’m in, especially with how busy I’ve been. Now I don’t think the bottles are getting much hotter than they do in say… my pockets, but those DO get pretty warm, and even though those don’t get to a point that would be called “hot,” the ones people put in their pockets get used up very quickly, and I don’t know what the effects of being stored in a warm place for long periods of time are. Do you think they could be diffusing in the bottle? Of course, that could even happen in a fridge or freezer given enough time, so I’m somewhat worried. I knew they probably weren’t getting denatured or converted to other molecules like in extreme heat which breaks them down, but I had never thought of the fact that all that has to happen is for them to come out of the solution of alchohol and into the air in the bottle. If that were to happen though, wouldn’t they eventually fall back down out of suspension from the air into the alchohol, because they wouldn’t have gotten very far? Can this really happen to any recognizable extent in the closed environment of the bottle? I have never heard of this point before, so I’m really curious…
yea i would like to trade.. although i would like a full sized bottle.. i really want to muck around with the stuff!! i am an avid poker player.. i wanna see if these generally serious, focussed players respond to the product, and also how they respond.. might be for some interesting results!!**
i really gotta restock my armoury.. had to throw away my ammo, instant jerk (love the stuff!!), instant shine, turn up the heat, and instant openness, coz they were all empty (i kept them for sentimental reasons.. they were my first phero’s!!)..
would i be able to get a deal if i do a bulk buy?? woulld really love to save some $$$, especially during these economic times..
Well I hate to burst your bubble, but they stopped making Spaceland in 30ml’s a while ago… but you MIGHT still be able to find someone looking to trade one from way back when. If you do, best of luck!
Now as far as bulk buying, you don’t save with that, but you can get points by responding to new users in the intro section, as well as from your old purchases, and you may be able to find a way to get a GC somewhere through some promotion, although I haven’t seen any of late, so you’d probably have to make a great thread and just hope, which shouldn’t be the natural order of getting GC’s for great threads. I would be willing to trade a lot with you (including a good deal of TUTH, the now very expensive A314, IS, and in general most of the consumer line, but I would suggest you private message me. Do you live in the US?). The easiest way would be if you got me a gift card, as the things I want to buy most are going to quickly no longer be in enough stock for me, so I suggest we arrange this within the next day or two. I am willing to give you FAR more than you pay for the GC, but I don’t think I’d do it unless the trade gets me at LEAST $70 or so, due to the nature of what I want to buy. If the stock gets any lower though, I may be willing to do a trade for much less money, like $30, but I would prefer we do this quickly. I need 12 of the item to be in stock (for buying a larger amount at $70) due to the nature of ordering custom lab items and how their stock works, and as I was typing just now it went from 15 to 14, I’m surprised it hasn’t gone faster.
I hope I don’t come off as trying to force the trade with that last bit, you know how androtics stock is… it flies off the shelves and doesn’t usually come back for a while… so naturally I’m somewhat worried.
Oh and just so you aren’t worried, I only keep the pheros I used daily in that backpack I was talking about, the rest (since I haven’t been using them, I would never trade the ones I DO use daily) I store in a dark cool place, and are not yet a year old, so they ought to be fine.
