Today, I was really hoping to get some “secrets” out of people to see if the pheromones really do work. I wore 4 sprays of Instant Honesty in my hair, 5 sprays of Liquid Trust on my chest, and 3 sprays of Instant Shine on my neck. I didn’t get any secrets out of people, but one of the girls brought along the 8 month old she was babysitting. That little girl kept looking at me and laughing. Is this because of the shine? What do you guys do to get people to spill their guts? I just want to make them do it just once so I know that my pheromones are working!
im sure pheromones work on infants, and for some reasons do alot of good.
i have a 5 yr old, and if i wear too much of anything i can see him get irritable after a while, so i think exposure to alot can burn them out too.
my kids respond well to instant shine and IO .
Jasmin would be a good baby-Q-answerer …
As infants are at a “non-verbal” communication stage in life I might suspect that they may even be more “aware” of pheromones. Plus as I speculated before, they probably don’t have any “social filters” as yet (learned social responses/controls).
I have been told that kittens and puppies ID their mothers, and even a specific teat that is “theirs” by scent alone. (I know from experience that kittens are essentially blind for a while. Scent sound and touch is all they got.)
I often get strong reactions from infants and small children while riding elevators (I live in a 32 story highrise). Usually they stare openingly, often smiling, giggling and trying to touch me. Usually freaks their mothers out and brings on a hail of apologies and statements like “she never does things like this,” etc. One little girl actually hugged by leg, nearly causing her Japanese national mother to faint. I suspect young children lack the social conditioning and filters we adults later acquire. Thus they simply and openly respond to the pheromones. Too bad my pheromones don’t work as well on hot little mommies…
Yeah, the baby did get a little fussy when I had to watch her alone for awile. She may have been getting tired of them or something.
I think instant shine also had an effect on puppies. My older sister wanted to look at the puppies that people try to sell along the side of the road. She was the one closest to the Basset hounds when we approached them, but one went running right past her to come crawl in my lap. When we went to look at some other puppies (can’t remember what breed), the one I was holding kept trying to snuggle into my neck when I tried to give it back to it’s owner ![]()
