2 high profile and eminent theorists, our own Tater and HEC from PC, have both stated that adding the products to hair conditioner and then leaving in the hair amplify the affectiveness? do others agree? and what of PC products like Aquagen? Nbully says on his blogspot [unbelieveable resource btw] that there products have gained some credence after being added to some of LP alchemy style perfumes and colognes.
Hi
I have tried using various pheromones in my hair conditioner many times Tater style
. I cant say the results were good though. I found it really didnt improve the hits at all and lessened them somewhat. I have better luck just spraying them on my hair after it is dry. I think it may have something to do with the process of you drying your hair but I am not sure.
I think you should give it a try and see how it go’s and let us know how you do. We all have different hair texture and styles maybe it will work for you.
All I can say about th other company you mentioned is that I use LP Pheroblends and I love them but I dont buy from the Lab they get there pheromones from although I have tried a few of there products like womens aquagen which I didnt care for and the industrial cops which I have trouble using.

PS.. I editted out the name of the lab. You can discuss products by there name but not the labs
I dunno. I’m all skeptical. Maybe due to aquagen’s unique ingredients, it can be used well with conditioner. But in general, it seems like a waste to do this since conditioner gets rinsed off and goes right down the drain. Maybe you could get some spray-on leave-in conditioner and add your pheromones to that. That might work really well, come to think of it…Let us know what happens!

Head hair is probably one of the best spots for rapid diffusion due to the heat generated there. However, this creates a problem with molecules that tend to diffuse fast like a-Androstenol, TAA etc. So, a leave-in conditioner which is designed to hold in moisture might aid in controlling diffusion of these flighty molecules and make them last longer, giving them a better diffusion profile.
I haven’t used Aquagen, but heard good things about it. One thing I find interesting is that in its latest version PC uses polysiloxane base which reportedly gives much better diffusion profile than either alcohol or oil. Now if that base will work much better in hair than either alcohol or oil is debatable.
Maybe putting it in hair gel would work better than in conditioner, since it’s meant to stay in the hair for extended periods of time.
For what it’s worth, I am a big fan of spraying directly onto the hair - rather than adding it to a hair product. As mentioned, the body heat lost through the top of the head is a great diffuser. Also, I find that many of the scents (like neroli) smell like hair products and need not be covered - making it easy to spray your fave scent on your body.
Tater shampoos and conditions, rinses thoroughly, then applies a tiny amount of conditioner with pheros and LEAVES IT IN. I think the combination of the fresh hair smell and the pheros is very effective, especially Instant Shine and IH.
