Just a thought. I just got my new (second) bottle of EoW. Someone posted here that they think EoW matures and the reason that batches seem stronger or less strong could be to do with age.
I recently revisted a dilute version (diluted with water nothing more) made with my first bottle of eow. By god it was pungent. Much more than I even remembered the neat stuff being. But it has been sitting in a dark space for months.
The new bottle is pretty tame. I’m wondering if it will get stronger as time goes by and if a stronger smell necessarily = better?
I would love to know what others think on this, as I am just curious. I still haven’t got the application of undilute eow cracked. I follow Bunny’s directions but that doesn’t seem to do anything for me until the next day, which isn’t great if you want to shower!
Residual eow works well for me, or if I dilute it heavily in water or perfume. But it would be very handy to be apply to figure out how it can work for me without dilution or skipping showers.
I just got my eow as well as it doesn’t smell that bad actually… it doesn’t actually have ANY effect with me so I don’t use it and just leave it on the bathroom counter ( I always forget to put it away). No one has complained about the smell and only when you hold the bottle up to your nose do you get a whift of it… Maybe this batch is just not that strong…
Nope. I have tried putting it on on the day and also putting it on before I sleep. When I put it on in the morning, i waited 20 min and sprayed Vivienne Westwood Boudoir and i asked my guy friend to smell my wrist and he said it was like ‘urine’… by the afternoon it had mellowed out and he just thought he was imaging things…
When I put it on before i went to bed the next morning i couldn’t even smell it anymore. Covered it with Pink Sugar… nothing…
I generally use about 5 drops
2 on neck, 1 on chest, 1 on each wrist…
Eow is just NOT happening for me…
I’m still waiting on my MX135 and the Est, I’m hoping they’ll produce more results!
I am 41 and it takes between 6 to 8 drops and I mean drops not dabs or swabs from the dropper, sometimes I will even wear 10. It took me about a month of trying it almost daily before Dolly told me I was not using enough ( I was wearing 4 to 5 drops) and timing was off but that was my fault. I know some will say I am crazy but I dont always cover it either. I will apply my scent but only near wear I apply the EOW not on top of it. Seems to work better for me that way and no one has ever complained of the stink which I really dont notice after dry down.
Have you tried more then 5 drops? Try that if you didnt and try what Jim suggested and see if less is better. You are 21 so maybe he is right and you already make alot of your own. You may as well experiment with it till your other stuff arrives you may hit on the anwser.
I have a “vinntage” bottle of EW and can say 5 drops will burn a hole through blue jeans and fill an auditorium with funky sweet. I think Jim may be right as well. Ms Liu needs to cut back. I love the scent of a woman. But too much womanly scent is repelling.
See, that’s my problem, too (I’ll be 21 next month), but I thought there was no such thing as an OD on cops. I’m not saying I get zero reaction, but I don’t get a whole lot. Also, the reactions I do get could be related to the fact that I get increased confidence on cops and therefore, I’m acting differently than usual.

Ok I have noticed something and I am wondering if others have as well.
Alot of the women in the age groups of 35 and up need alot more cops and dont report having effects the next day. Products like PCC or Cleo seldom work for them and they need 6 drops or more of EOW to get the full effect. They also tend to up the cop content in Androtics products.
Younger women (in there 20’s) are not seeing a reaction when they use EOW but they do get hits the next day sometimes. I also noticed the PCC and Cleo seems to work on the younger set more often.
I think the guys are right and there could be a OD point with cops but only for younger people who already make alot of them. Pheromones are still in the experimental discovery stage so its quite possible what we origonally thought about ODing is not true for everyone. Just like none for younger guys as Jim mentioned.
I feel thats the tough thing about mones. No one product will work the same for each person because of age and personality. Same go’s for who the product will effect. Certain people will be effected by certain mones and I am finding a consistancy to it. I notice it more blatantly with TAL and TAH.
When Dolly mentions a mix I know right away it will work for me because of past experience of course but also because we are close in age and alot alike. I dont know the anwser to this without each person spending alot of money to find out what works best for them and what works best on there targets. Maybe a test pack with alot of different products like people have been requesting.
Maybe for some reason you make alot of cops on your own even though your 43. I was on the pill for all of my adult life except the 2 years when I wanted to have kids and they say that effects cop production. See thats the tricky part everyone is different and has different health issues that could effect the production of natural pheromones. Did you take BC pills at all ? I am sure if we all put are heads and experiences together we can come up with amounts that will most likely work for different people.
Great idea, so far after the few failed results, the eow bottle has just been sitting on my bathroom counter. Will try out starting from 1 drop and move upwards.
I find that when I’m putting the drops on my chest or neck, the smell makes me feel all funny like I’m not really with it and that my head is blocked up… after a few hours my head clears up but as soon as I smell eow i feel like I have a headcold…
Tisha you mentioned PCC and Cleo… Is that generally as effective as the other ones such has I/S or MX135? the only one I’ve bought off love scents is the eow, there’s too many choices on the website and i’m so confused about which ones to get!!! Has anyone had really good feedback regarding any of the ones there?
I wasn’t necessarily suggesting an OD, but more along the lines of the younger women are already producing the “optimal” quantity of cops and any additional added through EoW etc. is just not “being noticed” so they see “no results”.
Interesting point. Although, with the fad of megadosing we had this past Spring, we had certain ladies (Alseides, I’m looking at you, dear ), some of them younger ones, dousing themselves in cops and getting decent results from it.
It’s a tricky business, this. I don’t think I’ll be able to really gauge until I’m in another relationship, but this should explain why I feel so casual about wearing EoW in public, where some women would think I was bananas for doing so (understandably, with the experiences that they have had).
Laurie, I think it’s perfectly fine for you to wear EW in public…the main thing that other women need to know is what type of reactions it CAN potentially produce. They have absolutely no idea. But, I think that if somebody really freaked out when you’re wearing it, you could handle it… some women do this and are totally unprepared.
Interestingly, when my MX135 was wearing off today, it was the first time I ever picked up on the cops. Probably because I wore more than usual–I replaced my three spray morning dosage with another three in the afternoon, and I think that was the first time I’ve worn six sprays in one day.
