Doing the math

I was just over a pherolibrary.com taking a look at The Cookbook to get an idea of what typical doses some standard pheromones products are. Most products like Primal Instinct etc. weigh in at around 100 to 500 mcg/ml.

Now, when I take a look at the Turn up the Heat product page on Androtics, the regular version is dosed at 2.5 mcg/spray. Assuming that the bottles spray a similar amount to the Experimone bottles (which say 30ml gives 200 sprays), that’s equivalent to around 17 mcg/ml androstenone. That’s 17 mcg/ml in TUTH, but 500 (five hundred!! :open_mouth:) mcg/ml in Primal Instinct. And the TUTH page states “This is a potent product…” I realise that sometimes less is more in this world, but I cannot see any product in the cookbook that is dosed anywhere near as low as TUTH.

Am I missing something? I’m always open to the possibility that I’ve muppetted up the math…

The question came up because I’m interested in getting some of the raw Experimones (the -none, -nols, -rone, A1 plus TAA) and was wondering whether it would be appropriate to bump the dose, but if my calculations are correct, I’d need to fork out several hundred dollars for something that would act as an appropriate additive! Can anyone offer any explanations, or some appropriate doses for these sprays?

A lot of people will OD on Primal Instinct at less than one drop and you can see why. Turn Up The Heat does not just contain androstenone though, it has a host of backup singers that play along with the none. I think of it like music, someone singing very loudly usually doesn’t sound as good as someone singing softer with half a dozen people singing backup.

More isn’t better, as a lot of lesser companies will have you believe. Androstenone has some nasty effects at OD levels.

Primal Instinct is a decent product, but suffers from inconsistency problems. That and its plagued with the negative effects that androstenone can have. Its far too concentrated for everyday use.

Turn Up The Heat is a much more manageable product than Primal Instinct. The general consensus seems to be moving to lower, more controlled levels of androstenone to produce better effects. It seems that Androtics’ lines (ammo, Turn Up The Heat) have actually lowered in none content to reflect such.

Androtics also use higher quality, more expensive to produce, American -mones. Where apparently Primal Instinct uses Chinese made ones.

lol are you sure they’re chinese made? where does it say that? Come on there is no way it’s chinese made. If it is chinese made then it’s 100% fake, it’s probably made from used toilet paper or something then.

They’re -pheromones of Chinese origin according to MHarris. Or so he seemed to recall. Ie. Not 100% sure.
