Since yesterday, I have been having this strange issue. When I post a new message, I get a message saying that I already posted a message and must wait a minimum of XX seconds before posting a second one. Thing is, I’m sure I only post once. This seems to happen everytime since yesterday evening. If I press a second time, I get a double post. I’ve noticed some people double post too, today. So I must not be alone. Is that a sudden bug

Holy hell I have the same exact thing going on. What I do is write my message and post then that screen comes up you are talking about. I then copy my message and then go to the last link at the top and click on it and I usually see my message posted. I just copy and paste to make sure.

Are you on wifi when this happens?
I find it most common on poor/wobbly connections.
Wifi, yes. But it never happened to me since I joined this forum. Always had the same wobbly connection though 
… I experienced it again this morning. I’ll reboot my router later on and see if this persists.
Thanks for letting us know. We notified our forum IT. Lately we have been tweaking our spam filtering algorithm and perhaps this is part. Screenshots would help, go ahead and send them through our support desk. Support@androtics.com

For reference, the bug just happened to me in this thread too on post #8 (but not #9… (- edited - )) .
You know I do have a wifi connection and where I live the internet can be very slow my fastest connection is like 1-2 MBPS download with up load being even slower.
I just wanted to bump this to help people with this issue.
I noticed this problem quite a while ago and I see it still isn’t fixed. But rest assured it’s not that hard to overcome.
After you post your message and get the error code, simply press ‘back’ then ‘refresh’ and it will show that your message was posted.
Yep, it still happens to me almost everytime in the newbies section and in the lounge section. Never in the journals, it seems. It’s not a big deal, more like a mosquito buzzing in one’s ears every once in a while ^^.

I’ve noticed all the things everyone has mentioned, I hope the bug gets fixed soon. It’s not a huge problem, just sort of an annoyance every now and then.
Yes, annoying, like a mosquito or something. Manageable. But persistent .
I guess we’ll have to get used to it. I received a notif from the IT that it’s fixed but now, I am going to notify them again that it isn’t. But I am seeing the beauty out of this. This helps the IT to eliminate possible causes until they pinpointed the real culprit.
For now, I am placing back to moderation every extra verbatim posts I chance upon so that you won’t see it.
