Here is my question:
As we all know, our bodies produce pheromones naturally, and our bodies are very addaptable. Just as our bodies shiver when we get cold so we will stay warm, is it not improbable that using these synthetic pheromones would also increase our own pheromone production? I feel that it is possible that when wearing synthetic pheromones, your body recognizes it and begins to produces more of its own. I know the comparison between shivering and pheromones is a bit of a stretch, but you get the idea.
Just a random thought I had earlier today
Please discuss
I’m not so sure about increase, if anything I would assume that it would decrease. Just like when males take testosterone supplements their natural production decreases.
However, I don’t think it works like that, as I think I read somewhere on here that pheros are a byproduct of the breakdown of hormones (correct me if I’m wrong). If this is correct, synthetic pheromones wouldn’t change your natural production as its not changing your hormone levels.
Then does that mean you have to rely on Synthetic pheromones later in life?
Nope, it is like drinking soft drink for a while instead of water, but going back to h2o won’t kill you, only takes away the “sweetness”
And pheros probably won’t affect you overal hormonal product. I believe that you only DETECT a phero, but don’t absorb it or process it inside your body obviously.
Many members also believe that artificial phero will increase slightly your own phero production. It makes sense and seems good to me, since you know that the pheros around you are not yours and this will stimulate you for competition in production.
Well, men’s 'none production decreases as they grow older, so you have to rely on synthetics if you wanted that particular pheromone.
But as far as rely, I mean you aren’t going to spontaneously combust if your short a couple pheros
P.S. An interesting side note. As men get older they make less 'none, and as women grow older they become less sensitive to 'none. But we still get nasty oldpeople sex, go figure.
