Enthusiastic Newbie

Hi all,
I just joined this website not too long ago, and I have been reading around, and must say that this is one of the best forums I have found dedicated to the field of Pheromones.

I am a 19 year old guy, currently working on my bachelors degree at University of Toronto (Yes, I am Canadian, I said it). It’s somewhat funny how I came across this website. Alright here it goes;

So I’ve known about Pheromones since I was in grade 7… but never really cared back then. But last week I was taking notes from my Psychology text book and I came across the topic of Pheromones. And I was like “hey I remember them from grade 7”… but as I read the section on Pheromones, I became interested in “googling” them, so I did. And I was brought to a yahoo answers page, where the person who answered the question regarding pheromones, had attached a link to this website, I clicked it and BOOM I was here.

I started reading journals, questions, stickies… just about anything you can mention, and was very impressed and a LITTLE sceptical (aren’t we all).

So what do I want to get out of this website??? RESEARCH!!! I am planning on attaining a Specialist degree in the field of Neurosciences, and I am “THINKING” that PERHAPS I can write my thesis on Pheromones.

Personally, I am outgoing, in great shape of my life, work out about 4 times a week, am doing exceptionally well in all of my courses. (except one, and that’s because I hate it lol). I have male friends, female friends, I can hangout with at anytime at school.

So back to my research, ok so I have learned that our brain is an amazing organ (yeah who doesn’t know that) but see, that’s not all, when we add something to our lives whether it be habits, drugs, attitudes, or anything else, we ultimately change the patterns of our brain on a physical level.

So for my study I will examine 5 students, before “putting them” on nomes, and then continuously check their mental and physical behaviour, through a course of one year. I will also check if they become “addicted” to nomes or what sort of reactions they generate after I cut their doses.

Wow, that was a long intro, my apologies, if you have any ideas please do share. Thank-you for your time.

Welcome to the forum Mazda,

Wow, students for study huh? But you will need to decide what TYPE of Phero’s to use. I would say that the safest thing to do is stick to the social Phero’s (Instant Shine, Instant Openness, Instant Honesty, Come Talk To Me). Most college people have an active social life, those Pheros are pretty appropriate everywhere & shouldn’t get them into too much trouble

You’ll have to let us know the findings of your study…

Welcome Mazda-

being an outgoing person I would expect you would see best results from Instant Honesty, Instant Gentleman, and Instant Shine

another one to try would be Ammo as it goes well with most personality types, and is not a -None overload for a club mix.

for experimentation I would stick to the social pheromones, as some of the sexual pheromones may cause adverse reactions in some situations.
IO, IH and CTTM2 would be good ones to blind test with, along with P74 and EST.

Make sure to blog, or have the students post a log that we can see, as sometimes it could be fun to look at and see their thoughts and reactions from wearing X, before they know what they are wearing.

You should stick to the socials for your research. IS, IO, IH.

if for student, stick with social pheromones… if not you gonna let your student to be the next double your dating with AMMO… lolx

Welcome to Pherotalk Mazda!

Amazing introduction and no you did not ramble on. I was totally drinking everything in. I could just sit and listen to you talk all day. :stuck_out_tongue: Just teasing.

I am hyped up from your introduction and so excited that you came here wanting to do such extensive research. Wow, I think you will add so much quality and even more great research to our forum.

As you can already tell you have come to a great place that is warm and full of knowledge. I mean you could read forever and still not go through it all. There are new discoveries to be made and I very much welcome researchers like yourself.

Do you plan to experiment using both men and women ? I would start off with the instant lines for both the men and women and then from there progress to the Mixes.

Men start off products :
Instant gentleman
Instant Jerk
TUTH
Mystery Boy

Women start off products :
Instant sexiness/ a
instant sexiness/b
MX135 & 335 (not instant lines but a good starter for a woman

Unisex products
instant honesty
instant shine
instant oppenness
CTTM 2

Good luck with your research

Your GC was issued!

Wow, thank-you for all the comments guys, means a lot to me. Right now I am in the phase of gathering information, before I propose the idea to my neurosciences professor, because I don’t want to look like an idiot, when I do so.

This website has helped me a lot, I have made notes on material, I came across among various posts. For example, I have found a few people talking about their life before nomes and after being exposed to them, and their feelings if they stopped using them now… needless to say its some very interesting stuff.

Anyway I will not be posting any results from my behalf, meaning I will NOT be creating a journal, but I will post links to University of Toronto’s scientific journal website (if that’s allowed), where the results will be posted by me and my colleagues, I think this will make the whole process a bit more authentic.

Thank-you for a warm welcome… certainly more than I expected.
Thank-you for the $35 gift certificate, I’m going to show these samples to my professor, I think this will ultimately open the way for more experiment funding from my university. Thanks folks. Good luck, I wish all the best for all of you.
