First, this should have been posted in the lounge.
Second, I THINK, this is what happened at the other place at one time … useless post ran of the more mature and experienced posters/users. I know it’s tuff being bored, and I do understand, really, but lets not clutter up the forum, at least this section with “I have nothing better to do” post. 'Cause I opened it hoping to find a better mix, and/or something about mones. Instead, t’was someone practicing on their alphabets.

I can see your point but I do believe the reason not many people post over at the “other place” is because they are so uptight and unforgiving over a simple mistake. Your made to feel like a outsider over there. We just posted the little jokes to let doughboi know its ok. Sh!t happens and its obvious he didnt mean to do it.
If it happened constantly it would be a problem but once in a while its no big deal. Dont sweat the small stuff. I am sure once Jas finds time she will either delete it or move it over to the lounge.

As for the “other place,” they’re really not that uptight. They had some bad incidents, things got out of control and they threw the baby out with the bath water trying to fix it. Everything is cool now and blood is starting to flow back in. Although I was pretty naughty over there, I was never warned or banned. You really had to be a horse’s behind to get banned and apparently they an entire stable of them. Now I’ve been on my best behavior here and have been warned several times and had posts deleted and rewritten (not for bad beavior but for mentioning forbidden pheromone wholesalers and designers). I’ve seen many great forums go south due to a few trouble makers and resulting free-for-all, so it can happen anywhere. fffffffffffffffffffddddddddddd…
Yes I heard they had problems and alot of banning at one point over there. That didnt bother me to much but I just didnt get a feeling of warmth over there.
People get kinda POed if you ask a question that has already been asked. Alot of people are new to forums and nervous about posting in them and they will ask a question thats been already covered just to sort of get there foot in the door. In that forum I noticed the mods would just slam that door right in their faces and I found it uncomfortable. Its to bad because they have alot of good posts and information over there.

There was a point where a flame war was going on and that’s when a bunch of people got banned. (actually there were two of 'em) Also the worse thing that noobs asking an often asked question was a bunch of “do a search” replies, and that was from the members, not the mods.

doughboi, just so you know, you have the ability to delete any post you make and any thread you start. To delete a post, hit Edit and you will be given the option to delete. To delete a thread you started, just delete the first post.
This will not affect rep points. In other words, if someone were to receive ten rep points in this thread for whatever reason, you will not take them away from that person by deleting the thread. Also, if someone lost ten, that person will not get them back.
