Short answer: Nothing happened. I figured I’d use this to track any and all (including no) progress.
I was going out with a guy friend today, so I couldn’t resist my curiosity and tried the MX250. I thought it’d be interesting as we’re only friends (and I’d like it to stay that way) but there’s always a date vibe as he’s a real gentlemanly guy. I also know he used to like me.
I spritzed it three times: front of my neck and twice in my hair. No self effects.
Nada. He was very normal except my friend wrinkled his nose and said I smelled like baby powder when I stepped into his car. Yeap, not a fan. WHEW: the chocotini(?) scent is overwhelming! Not even my Chanel was able to cut the scent! And if you know the scent Chance, you know how strong that sucker is! (Would prefer everything neroli-scented; I really dislike gourmand scents.)
Also absolutely no hits on the town, so I think yesterday was due to the clothes. We went to the Grove again today as he wanted to buy some books. As usual, no greetings or second looks. I was wearing a military jacket and jeans, everyday clothes.
I refreshed it about four hours after initial application with two spritzes: on my nape and my hair and headed into the Apple store (heh.) Eh, nothing special today, either. One offer of help, but it was the usual polite offer, no slight “lighting up” effect as the previous day.
Conclusion: yesterday’s effect was mostly due to me looking fabulous in flattering kimono-type dress baring leg and slight cleavage until testing ISHINE/MX135 further.
Who knows why you didn’t get better hits from it in general and with your friend. Even though MX250 is heavy with cops, he may seriously realize that there’s no chance for anything more. That coulpled with the fact he’s a real gentleman who likes and respects you and can probably control those feelings, anyway, may have held him back. Also, the Instant Sexiness/A, that’s in that mix, projects a strong woman vibe so…it might take a bit more effort for someone else to approach you. Just thoughts…
I don’t have MX250, but I have MX135 and cookie scented TAH, which I’m almost out of, thank God. I feel the same way about the chocolatini and cookie scents…phew! Found out from Inkling they’re both in MX250! I’ve had a little luck covering those somewhat, but in the end they always seem to come through.
Yes, a nice dress, bare legs and cleavage often work like pheromones!
Thanks! And oh, I actually didn’t look up 250 before testing–I didn’t want to skew any results! I was just looking for any difference in reaction in general. But I just looked it up and whew–20x cops?(!) Wow. But yes, definitely agree about my friend–he is really one of the most good people I know. He is (already) a woman magnet but he’s going to be in SUCH demand when the smart, hot, unditzy girls start thinking of really settling down. He’s got very strong nesting instincts. =)
And uh-oh! Sounds like you regret being adventureous about your choice of scents. But it’s true–the chocolatini and cookie reallys blasts its presence. I think it dries down mostly vanilla/cookie, but everything about it smells super artificial and… =/
Heh, right? I wish I were motiviated enough to do it more often. I tend to spend more money on food and perfume on clothes. (OMG food. Deliciousnessss.)
