I’ve tried to OD on shine and failed. I intend to go on trying, even though I expect to fail again and again.
I’ve never had noticeable results from a single application of Instant Shine after four hours. However much I start with (e.g. 2 sprays of 2X), after about three hours I apply a ‘booster’ equal to about 1/3 to 1/2 of what I started with: 1.5 to 2 sprays of 1X in the case given.
I then apply the same ‘booster’ amount roughly every two hours after that.
In a dance club, with lots of distraction and inebriated brains, smoke, a tightly packed crowd – there’s an excellent chance that someone getting a hit of your Instant Shine just grooves on it, and doesn’t even think twice about where it’s coming from. Sometimes only the most acutely ‘nosey’ can track the scent to you. More pheropower improves the chance of the average person in a club noticing you as the sender of the pheromessage…
So, in addition to my booster regimen above, entering a dance club or any equivalently smoky/distracting environment, I would add another spray as I entered, and instead of a booster every two hours, I opt for a booster about once per hour.
Remember the Instant Shine metaphor: a spotlight. Your spotlight can be big enough to include other people – in fact, people will want to jump into your personal space with Instant Shine (and share the spotlight) unless you give them a reason to keep their distance (a good dose of A314, an aloof lone-wolf grimace, insufficient or inept personal hygiene, a leaking bottle of -none…)
If you don’t share the spotlight, literally and metaphorically, then you might inspire more than envy: depending on context, some people may feel slighted, or outright vengeful if you compete with THEIR celebrity. Celebrity only seems to be a limited quantity good, but I actually think that there’s enough for everyone to celebrate something (especially if they’re not celebrating themselves only.)
