First off, the smell of this stuff was pretty strong for about an hour. So plan accordingly.
I had a couple of hours at home to myself last night so I decided to give spaceland a try. 1 shot to each inner elbow. After about 15 minutes my buddy who I was IM’img with asked me if I was drunk. I was rambling on and going off on tangents and just being really silly. So I decided to get some fresh air. While I was sitting on a bench outside my apartment a little girl (Like 2 or 3) came up and gave me a flower. I thanked her and asked what kind of flower it was. She starts giggling. After a few seconds she is laughing so hard she is falling down. So her mom comes over to make sure she is not bothering me and apologies that her daughter is not normally like this. I assured her it was not a big deal and that she was not bothering me. So I stand up and we start making small talk. After a few minutes her daughter is spinning around and falls down. The mom starts laughing so hard that she puts her hand on my chest to steady herself. Now that’s not that big of a deal. It was the fact that she ran her hand all the way down my stomach all the way to my waist before she took her hand away. Then she got a look on her face like, “I can’t believe I just did that”. She glanced at her watch and made a quick excuse about needed to check on something in the oven. She said it was nice to meet me and hurried off.
2-3 hours later when my wife got home I did not notice any effects on her, or myself any longer. I think I need some more research with this one. Anybody have any advice on application points and dosages? I was thinking maybe I could spray it on furniture or pillows and see what happens.
Temperature seems to be a issue of the products longevity. If it is more humid the products tend to loose it’s effect faster so it depends where you are. The wrist and neck seem to be good places to spray. You could try experimenting with dosages and blending with other products. It seems to be better when you start at a low dose and built up to the ghosting effect. You will eventually find your sweet spot the place where you feel the product works the best for you. I have no experience with spaceland but am sure someone else can answer the question on what is a good amount to use for it.
I got a slightly above half-full to-go of Spaceland as a freebie in my recent order and will be testing it as well. I think I might relate my experiences to yours here, if you don’t mind.
Alpha-androstenol seems to stick around not quite as long as other molecules, TAA seems quite volatile too, then of course -none lasts for ages. The most dramatic effects will certainly be in the first 2-3 hours I would’ve thought. Spraying it on objects - something I’ve not got into yet, but is actually what a lot of the scientific experiments with pheros seem to involve. If they work on inanimate objects, and I read some abstracts that suggest they do, then a fortiori they’ll work on a living, breathing, interacting, congruent human!
So yeah, if you can continue to smell the Spaceland when it is applied to the cushion or furniture, then it is doing its thing. Tisha has considerable expertise and experience in applications of all varieties, and she is an advocate of chair-spraying and the like. They will work better on a person, but they should work on inanimate objects too.
