First week at my new job

Ok, here is how my first week went at my new job…
Since I’m working in advertising sales, I thought the other members of the sales team might not be very welcoming since we work on commission, but I was wrong.

I have a bottle of MX134 on the way and will be saving that for when I actually start meeting with clients and since I’m starting to run a little low on everything, I tried to be creative until my order gets here.

This is what I wore everyday(wanted to stay consistent during the first week with my new co-workers)

3 sprays IS/A to neck & hair
2 sprays instant honesty to back of head
1 spray MX135 all over just for fun

First day we had a sales meeting in the morning…
Everybody was warm and welcoming during the meeting and when we were discussing client lists and trying to divide up the new clients, they other sales people thought we should divide them up amongst us, but our boss wanted them all to go to me… I was surprised since they have the potential to be good clients and I’m a new team member. Not sure if this was a hit, but kind of think so.

Two days during the week, I had my co-workers giving me shoes… lol
This happened with 2 different women on separate days. By the end of the week, I ended up with 4 pairs of almost new shoes!!! I’ve never had people just up and give me things like that. They just didn’t fit them, so they gave them to me…:smiley: Once again, not sure if this was a hit, but thought it was funny.

One morning I had to ride around with one of the salesmen and shadow him. While we were in the car, he kept sniffing or taking a deep breath, so I could tell he was smelling me. Too funny! He kept talking and telling me all about himself and was very chatty. Kind of odd, since in the office he seems to be very reserved and keeps to himself while he’s working.

Thurs. & Fri. I spent several hours both days with another team member working on the computer while she was teaching me different programs we use… Both days she was sitting close, kept touching my arm, leaning in towards me and sharing personal info, just like I was a family member or friend. Nothing bad or anything, but seemed like she just felt comfortable with me or something. I would have to say this was a hit, since she seemed to be very cold with the other people in the office.

Very interesting first week. I can’t wait to start meeting with my clients and try out MX134. I’m very curious to see if that will help with my sales.
Like I said, I’m not sure if these were hits, but thought I’d report back anyways.

Oooo! Welcome. Coolness. Indeed, when I was starting to use pheros about 1 yr ago, I posted a similar MIX of prods for using in my sales position.

I’m in Inside Sales, on the phone 90% of the time, but then also was working with a larger group at the office (including our mgt team), so I wanted to BE a sales person also in how I presented myself in person. I do a LOT of networking, so using Pheros was good for that, too, but certainly I did a LOT of it for ME and how I felt psychologically making all my calls.

I use Instant Shine like it is my signature fragrance, because in many ways, it is SO ME!

I just used up the LAST (whimper, whimper) of my Instant Honesty and am now patiently waiting for my new order’s arrival.

I LOVE the hits with the shoes! FABULOUS!

I LOVE to wear MX134 like it is my female POWER SUIT. I do all my ALPHA FEMALE stuff at WORK.

In romantic relationships I prefer to be the YIN energy with the man being the Yang (alpha) energy. Of course, we are all a MIX of these energies. (www.drpatallen.com/) So, it’s almost like I need to scrub down my DAY pheros and add my YIN pheros for my romantic life - Instant Honest, Shine (good for ALL occasions! lol!), LAM. And now I want to try out EST!!!

I would say your Thurs/Fri activity was DEFINITELY a hit!

And the shoes too!

It’s nice to hear what you use and I can’t wait til my mx134 gets here!!!
I also prefer my romantic relationships to be different from work. I tend to lean towards being more of a tah personality so I need that tal to make me more aggressive in my new job, but want to feel sexy and girly when I’m out with my date…

I totally agree about feeling like you need to scrub down the day pheros!

I hope these pheros make my sales rock since all the extra money I make will be going to Androtics!!! Hehehe :smiley:

And you’re gonna need to keep wowing them at your new job to pay for it! Boy, it’s expensive.

That was a cool report. And the shoes? From more than one person? Were they ugly or something? :open_mouth: That is one of the strangest things I ever heard!

Sounds like you definitely got hits if your co-workers (especially the women) were still nice to you after the boss gave you all the new clients!

As for the shoes I received 3 pairs of really cute dressy pumps from one lady and a pair of nice leather boots from another one. It’s so crazy I almost find it hard to believe. When I look at the shoes I just have to laugh :smiley:

Had another funny thing happen today… while I was out training with one of my male co-workers we went to get ad copy from a big car dealership and were meeting with the sales manager in his office along with another sales person (there were 4 of us and I was the only female :slight_smile: ).

I was sitting right by the door when another salesman popped his head in to talk to his boss(the sales manager) and he looked at me and gave me a huge smile and asked how I was, and if I was the new sales rep… He totally ignored his boss and was trying to start a conversation with me. He even told me how much he liked my hair right in front of the other 3 guys! I about died and couldn’t believe he said that in front of his boss! I guess that instant sexiness got to him and the instant honesty made him talk too much… :smiley:
