I agree with RBT–good theory.
A number of recent studies have shown the human VNO is nonfunctional, i.e., there is no nerve connecting to to the brain. Pheromones are thought to be detected through the main olfactory system–the old snout. Here are one of many references to a vestigial human VNO.

damn… I pretty much hoped that using pheromones in general would render DIHLs… which is why I sorta got interested in using pheromonets. so far the ones I have I don’t think produce these results 
(Instant Openess, Instant Female Magic, Instant Shine, Ammo).. but i’m not sure
Hmm pheromones don’t need the VNO to render DIHLs… They probably work in some other way in humans.
DIHL’s aren’t realy that functional. It’s hard to take advantage of them. They are more or less dazed, and you have to break them out of that then connect. It seems to be tricky, as they are flustered or shocked.
Pheromone altered body language IMO is the biggest creater of an increase in DIHL’s as compared to not wearing phero’s.
Useful DIHLs you mean, yeah, definitely. Something like A314 makes you walk like THE MAN. Nice and slow, like you’re not somebody’s errand monkey.
Many old time DIHLs people reported were just induced by alpha-nol, which makes people go spacey. It’s not necessarily attraction, although you could probably steer it.
That’s why our high alpha-nol spray is called Spaceland, not Sexland. I think that’s more accurate when talking about alpha-nol alone. (P83 can cause a lot of spaciness, too)
Real attraction, most of us handle better than going all mindless on you. Women are discrete. We *sneak glances. We usually don’t space out or lose our sht. Some really young girls do, but we quickly learn to weed that out over time.
Best way to notice real attraction from a woman is with a partner. Women do anything to avoid YOU noticing them looking at you. Having a woman partner or a “pivot” as they call it in PUA land can really help you notice signs of attraction. They might be able to avoid your gaze, but they won’t be able to avoid the eyes of a socially aware female friend.
Remember, lots of pheromones give you increased attraction. But attraction itself is just like knowledge. You’ve got to do something with it for it to be useful. It’s not something to just look at it.
First off, with respect to range one can assess just how far and quickly pheros can travel by certain experiments. For me I have had fun wearing highish none or TE doses on one of the long escalators in the London Underground. You can see women respond, one after another as they pop into range of your advance sillage (well before they can really notice you visually). The effective range is much greater than you might think. I’m personally not a fan in such a young field of saying effect X is impossible because of a,b,c so it must be effect Y that you are seeing.
Secondly, I’m not sure it is the case that one can modify body language that easily. Otherwise the DIHL effect would be folk knowledge and anyone who has worked on their subcommunication even a little bit would be aware of this effect. I think for subcommunication of status and dominance to be useful in an evolutionary context it has to be hard to fake (and practically speaking that has been my experience too).
At a very basic level, if you deliberately try to stand up straight and relax your shoulders you may find that you are using your body in a different way - substituting voluntary muscle control for reflexes. Read Feldenkrais and F.M. Alexander for more on this.

Agreed. Even prior to my -mone usage, I would regularly get a DIHL from toddlers on the bus, at the mall, etc… to the point that the parents would notice and become emberrassed. But it wasn’t until just last week that I got my first adult DIHL. On the city bus, younger 20’s, non-english speaking hispanic female. I was wearing one shot of Ammo on my wrists (one spray, rubbed wrists together.) Reaction was immediate, to the best of my knowledge. by the time I had paid my fare, which took all of about 3 seconds, her jaw was actually hanging open like I was Ricky freakin’ Martin… Would have loved to try to move in for the kill, she was very attractive, but my Spanish speaking skills leave much to be desired…
I’m going to have to try my hand at converting a DIHL into a solid hit… In my not-so-humble opinion, I think this may be a question of how much game you bring to the table to begin with.
Now, I have to use deductive reasoning on this one, seeing as how I have no A314 knowledge aside from what I’ve read. I will agree that I’ve noticed better results talking to women using better posture, regardless of how the conversation may be going otherwise… So I could see how the ‘James Bond’ effect of A314 would make one more attractive, just by it’s effects on the user alone, without the target having caught a whiff.
Now as far as the ‘real attraction’ you spoke of, speaking from a male standpoint, doesn’t necessarily hold true all the time. I’m sure everyone here has had a mouth full of peanut butter when confronted with someone too beautiful for words, giving THEM the DIHL effect, -mones or no -mones.
I do agree with you that attraction is just like knowledge, though, which is why I can’t wait to have the opportunity to try and break the DIHL effect in a target. IMO, that may be the best hit available, providing you can work a way to break the trance and turn it into a decent hit in a reasonable amount of time… I think maybe an undertone of Instant Openness may be just what the doctor ordered for a bit of help on that note… Not much, just enough to let them relax their own way out of the tension of attraction that’s keeping them in a trance. Any thoughts on that???

Ah… but it has been said it’s not what you say but how you act… Sex has a way of ignoring language barriers. Non-verbal, “physical,” communication can oft work wonders. (Although some gestures and expressions can mean widely differnet things in some cultures… so read up on it, or just plain experiment. If you goof up you are likely to be forgiven. Books on international business dealings are great.) And I hear research has shown that certain gestures or behaviors are pretty much universal to the human race, and I am pretty sure sexual attraction related ones are some of the most universal.
In fact I’d sure be tempted to use a “language lesson” as a way to strike up a conversation. Getting her involved in helping you “speak the lingo” could be a sure way to move things along socially… and otherwise…
