Guys listen to experience first not hype

I understand I may even get neg on this threat but boy I have been reading so many over the top claims, inconsistent arguments, people advising on mixes they have not even tried for themselves, then others agree with everything (all for and against the same statement in the same threat), we also have the posters for the sake of posting (like in facebook: Just out of bed, took shower, sprayed whatever on, will see what happens) but the Title was SUPER DUPER MIX HERE!!!

It is great that some people try to help but sometimes I read some crazy stuff being said or advice, then the person that gets the bad advice post back “I got shit tested” and the same person that said “use this mix A+B+C+D, I had great results with it”, replays “I guess I won’t be trying that mix” and something like “you should have known that IJ does not go well with IH and IG”.

Also, for Budha’s sake if your adviser can only post about how badly he screws up his (I was going to say His or Her but to be fair it is mostly guys) relationships even when they have a “secret advantage” called mones and if you really read all of their excuses you’ll see they were looking for in the mones for a magic cure for their insecurity, BE POLITE BUT, RUN AWAY!!!

Once they obtain a serious knowledge on this subject (with time and experimentation) may become a good source of advice but, initially listen to quality advice from people who know what they are talking about, I have read some serious essays on the properties and effects of pheromones from posters like Warren, K-Train, Olfact Amorous and Tisha just to name a few (but then their postings a getting to be more and more scarce or maybe diluted by avalanche of bad advice). I have also read amazing social advice given by Tisha, Radman and Steve, again only to name a few and I am not saying to listen only to them but beware of what you listen to and remember that when it comes to experimentation and research your own experiences (Testing) are your best bet to learn how to use Pheromones to your advantage.

One thing is true and Radman said it "(pseudo quote) no amount of mones will replace a good set of balls”, do not put on IJ if you have a huge beer belly (It will just be creepy) and not even A314 will give you the Alpha vibe you get after running 10K on New Year’s morning.

Quote from M&M “My two cents, and don’t even think about trying to get another cent for a cost of living allowance”

Reps, Ftordces. It’s good to see newer users (you’re not super new, but still) who understand that things really are mostly up to them. Advice can help you, but it’s up to you to make decisions on what is good or bad advice and how to implement it in your situation. If a student is writing a paper or a scientist is doing research, and if they do a good and thorough job, then they must by necessity check the validity of their sources. Was this study done by a corporation? Was this study done by an individual who has made outlandish claims in the past? Oftentimes, people don’t apply the same discretion to social situations and advice. If a social skills guru gave me a bit of advice on confidence and body language, I would definitely consider and possibly practice it. However, if some greasy man in a cheap suit who reeked of cologne gave me advice, yes I would once again consider it, but more likely than not, I would come to the conclusion that the advice was void. Always consider your sources. And remember that sometimes even the more reliable sources get things wrong. So if something seems off, don’t be afraid to question it.

As for your first paragraph, there’s a reason I try to make titles that are descriptive or informative without actually making judgment on the mix’s effectiveness in the title. I tend to avoid sensationalism and only give the facts as I perceived them. While more sensational posts can be informative and interesting in their own right, and almost definitely receive more views and replies, it can be a bit harder to sort through things and decide how to apply the results to your own situations, at least in my experience.

Not sure why you thought you’d get neg rep’d for this, everything you’ve said so far is pretty legit. (Although I would’ve mentioned a few more people who are ‘good advice’-givers around here, but thats ok, you did leave out MHarris and Jasmin too. )

Seriously, great post.

The whole thing is that we should weight the advice and its source, you can actually make good use of every piece of advice good or bad if you make a good analysis of the statements and the logic behind them and then compare them against your own experiences and research. Good extrapolation. on advance research, I can see how some of the poster do follow a more scientific approach to their testing and those are the one I mostly read from.

No John, Jasmin and MHarris were among the first I though of, I guess I felt it was superfluous because they are among the most knowledgeable and respected people on the board but you are right I should have mention them.
One more poster who is really there for everybody is P51 Mustang and Wildflower always impress me with his postings, I know there are many other great posters that escape my memory.

I think this is TOTW worthy.

Because a lot of the successes of new users out there depend on solid advice based on what you experience. Regurgitation does nobody any good, I’m glad you mentioned something.

That is the way I see it, people need to look at mones as tools, not solutions and also write from knowledge not speculations. Thanx Mustang.

Just busting your chops, I know what you meant. hah

But seriously, I agree with P51 - great post and TOTW worthy.
