My mother showed me her red leather handbag yesterday. NO I don’t use handbags myself lol. She has black pen marks all over the half the top portion near the zipper. I was wondering if anyone knew anything that could get pen writing off leather without necessarily damaging it in the process like some solvents may do.
Hmm not sure but I used Ishine to get pen marks out of my leather couch once LOL I had some small pen marks and I saw on Rachael Ray that cologne would get it out but I was to lazy to go upstairs and get it. The Ishine was right there so I used that and it worked. LOL
You could try just a little spot test and see if that works 
Lestoil works well on fabric but I am not sure if it can be used on leather.
I think they sell a product called ink off in the stores you may want to check that as well.

Well even I have a puzzled look on my face right now cause it worked to a good degree. It didnt all come off but at least now it doesnt look like a kid doodled on her bag with a pen. She told me shes been having a habit of carrying a pen in her hand adjacent to the bag with the cap off…anyway 
Yeah shes was really happy for a few minutes and gave me a hug and all that sentiment nonsense. She asked me what i used to clean it and I propped up my Instant Shine bottle in my hand like a saleswoman 
ROFL I know it surprised me when I did it to. I only had a little ink on the couch though so it all came off.
