Hippies were some of the original tree huggers!
All lies Jim, all lies. Hippies cared about smoking ganja and music. Making love not war. The hippie movement had little to nothing to do with tree hugging originally. The only tree hugging they did was hug the giant marijuana tree growing in Humboldt county.
