I bought the A314 about a month ago. I don’t use it daily, but only in specific work situations.
I put some on today, and noticed that it did not have as much scent as before. I could barely detect the fragrance. The cap was tightly shut, so I don’t think it evaporated. But I am worried that it might have lost some of its effectiveness.
I should also mention that today I layered the A314 with some instant honesty and instant shine and had some weird effects.
I was attending a settlement conference (I am a lawyer) and hoped to use it to get an advantage in the negotiations. I ended up getting the deal my client wanted, but before that the other party, a man in his mid fifties, got all agitated and hostile.
I have dealt with him before and while he is a jerk he usually controls himself. This time he got very excited, interrupted the judge, and made derogatory comments against me personally. It was very peculiar and all of the court staff after the meeting mentioned how unusual his behaviour was.
The man had been sitting about a foot away from me. I am assuming that the Instant Honesty loosened him up a bit. But what concerns me is that he wasn’t showing me any respect at all, and coupled with the unusual lack of smell to the A314, I am wondering if my bottle of A314 has lost its mojo.
um… sounds like he lost his cool, but you didn’t. So you came out better in the end. I mean, what this guy was doing sounds a bit beta-ish to me basically. So it is a funny reaction, but one that sounds like the reaction of someone who has lost a confrontation on some level. It’s not going to be smooth running for the alpha A314 guy all the time, but if you kept your head, and he made a fool of himself, then it looks like you remained the alpha in the situation.
Sorry, just checking. You have given the bottle a good shake haven’t you? I know, that’s like the computer guy saying “have you tried turning it off and on again”.
Thanks for the feedback. I guess you are right about him acting beta-ish. I definitely got a reaction of some sort from the pheros. But I was hoping for a little more smooth sailing.
I had not given the bottle a shake - is that recommended? As you can see I am new at this.
well… it’s possible that much of the pheros have settled to the bottom of the bottle, they do stand a better chance of being evenly distributed if you do shake the bottle up. Can’t do any harm anyway.
Just my nickle, but…I think what you got was an alpha-jerk reaction. Not uncommon for these types to up and at ya, when confronted by/with a guy who’s projecting more alpha vibes than he’s comfortable with. The Honesty on top and he just couldn’t hold back.
Also, you were feeling differently about the A314…coulda been because of the socials you layered it with. That can change the dynamics of a situation as well as your own feelings. Just a thought.
