saw this title, offered up to the buying public in all seriousness:
The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Toltec Wisdom
Sure, buddy… now you too can discuss the fine points of the Tonal and the Nagual…
What we need is The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Complete Idiots.
I actually like the complete Idiot’s guide books. and the dummie’s guide’s too. Granted I’ve never picked one up to explain the finer points of religion, but i do like the layout and structure for getting a grounding on less esoteric topics.
When I first heard about the Dummies and Idiots books, I refused to buy them on principle. I remember joking that I was going to write a whole series of “For Dipsh*ts” or “For Total Losers” books. But then one day I needed a beginners book on Excel, and I caved.
Yeah, I got a jumpstart on tech with “a+ certification for dummies” back in the 7th grade.
