Anybody else got headache from IS? I sprayed 2 IS to each side of the wrist as usual (I wear it every other day usually) and I got intense pulsating headache on the left front side of my head :frowning:. Can’t concentrate at all at work and the throbbing pain is totally killing me. Never got that kind of reaction before..I’m actually one of the ppl who don’t usually get headaches.

Need to check which IS I sprayed it from since I got like 5 togos from gifts. Could it be a bad batch? I want to know which one it’s coming from, but one bad headache is enough for me to not try using it again for a while.

Wow, I thought I was the only one w/this problem… :roll_eyes: I recently started using IS/a and I’ve been noticing that it gives me headaches as well. The day I got my package I sprayed one spray of IS on my wrists (and rubbed the wrists together)… I went to sleep several hours later, and had a headache all through the night… :frowning:
I took some painkillers in the morning and felt a little better, but then I re-applied IS/a before going to work…By the time I got to the office my head was killing me :open_mouth: Maybe I’m just not used to the scent of IS/a, although it wears off relatively quickly, so I’m a bit surprised at this reaction. In the 6 days that I’ve been wearing IS/a, my head has definitely hurt or felt “heavy” in all instances until the pheromones wore off… :roll_eyes:

I have also gotten headaches from 2 sprays of IS one on the back of neck and chest, similar to your pulsing headache you describe. IS when sprayed too much, or depending on your sensitivity, excites the neurotransmitters in your brain to the point were they become too excited and somewhat overload thus creating a powerful throbbing sensation. remember IS is supposed to bring your mood up, when we look at anti depressant they do the same effect,but in a steady stream, and are taken orally. As i have read, people on other posts experience better moods, and experience happiness for a brief period of time while using IS. what i did was i used two sprays still but covered it up with cologne seemed to do the job, but havent used it in two weeks.

I realize you guys are probably talking about Instant Shine and not Instant Sexiness, but it’s probably the same across the board… I’ll try applying less of it (1-2 sprays) and see whether there is a difference. :wink:

I would start off with 1 spray and work your way up

3 Sprays is ~105mcgs of pheromones.

That is A LOT for someone that’s new to be applying. Thats akin to the time I sprayed IS2x 3 times and that gave me a terrible headache and that was only 90mcg of total pheromones.

Honestly 1-2 might just do the trick for you.

IS always leave me kind of loopy feeling, and in need of a nap. However, I’ve been adding a bit more to each application and it’s not as bad as it was in the beginning.

If you continue to have problems, try TAA alone.

3 sprays of Ishine 2x is 90mcg of pheromones. Thats alot to start with TAA.

3 sprays of Instant sexiness is 45 mcg’s of pheromones per spray. Mia you may need 3 or more sprays of Isex to see results. (tips below)

Big difference.

The headache is normal the first few times you use pheromones.

Your exposed to more then the those around you so what happens is your neurotransmitters go into rapid fire because it’s not used to that much pheromonal stimuli. After repeated exposure it adjusts and fires normally and you dont get that anymore.

By the way this is normal in the brain for all sorts or stimuli not just pheromones. Smoke, alcohol, caffeine, To much perfume, the smell of fresh cut grass.

Its not harmful unless your always overdoing it with mones and end up depleting your neurotransmitters.

Its sort of like working out your abs. You know that burn you feel when you do a new work out. After doing the same workout though your abs adjust and you stop feeling the burn or ache. Same thing with neuro’s

Here are some tips to combat this…

Starting out testing 1 spray has multiple benefits. First it’s the start to finding your dosage. Mones are expensive and more is not better. Once you send a signal and people are responding to this signal using more is not going to make it better. So you waste less.

It also eases your brain into processing this new stimuli. So there is no rapid fire and no headaches.

Never inhale them wet. Major head rush. Hold your breath when you apply them till they settle. This way your not getting a huge dosage all at once.

Spray some applications to the back of the body. Back of head or neck.

If your applying them all to your chest or the front of your neck its wafting up right into your inhale zone so your stimulating your neurotransmitters for 4 to 6 hours. This may not effect some people but those more sensitive will get headaches or tired.

Stay hydrated and take a good multivitamin every day. This helps keep your neurotransmitters replenished. There are some other things you can take but I wont get into that here.

I stand corrected. Your right Isex is 35 MCG which I did know. Its right in my notes LOL Just got in from a night out and my head was in the clouds still. :stuck_out_tongue: Its not about who knows more its about helping each other. Thank you for pointing it out :wink:

Mia will still probably need more then 2 sprays to see results though with this one. Most women use 3 to 5.

I do agree with you that starting out they should be using one spray to slowly adjust to it. They should not gage the effectiveness of the product until they reach the correct dose though.

Thank you both Tisha and Mustang! :wink: I will definitely follow your advise… Actually I’ve been wearing just one spray for the past two days, yesterday I seemed fine, no headache from it, no side-effects, I was simply able to smell a faint scent of IS/a. I’ll do the same today but switch up and spray it to the back of my neck as opposed to my wrists. :stuck_out_tongue:
I’ve been reading posts here on the forum and 3-4 sprays of IS/a seemed to do the trick for most females (I know it’s different for all) so this week I’ll try to find out what works best for me, as last week I’ve had no success. :wink:
