Hey! I’m Ana, a young college student in New York City. I enjoy writing, rock climbing, and… that’s about all I have time for recreationally, because my life is a giant ball of school-related stress otherwise.
Normally I wouldn’t define myself in the title of an introductory post as “lesbian”, but it seems to be somewhat relevant to how I’ll be using and testing out mones.
I’m generally considered attractive (in that bland, blondish way middle aged men seem to like) but as a very feminine person, it’s hard getting the attention of other lesbians. Oftentimes I’ll make flirtatious eye contact with a girl who I think might be gay, and rather than returning it (as men do) she’ll look sort of defensive. I think other girls often think I’m looking at them in a judging way. I’m hoping mones can change this, and if they can’t, well, maybe I’ll buy one of those stupid “No one knows I’m a lesbian” shirts. Anyway, nice to (sort of) meet you all!
As far as handling the stress is concerned, may I highly recommend Instant Shine? It really has a nice self-effect of perking up the energy and easing the stress, putting you in a better mood and general frame of mind. This in addition to doing the same thing to everyone around you. It’s one of my core mones.
As far as attracting other lesbians, I’m afraid I can’t help you on that. I’m hetero, been married to my husband for a long time, and while I have homosexual friends, I’m not “in” that world, if you understand me - I don’t have experience with what you’re talking about.
BUT –
There’s a lady here named Tisha who is like a GURU of women’s mones, regardless of orientation! (And a buncha the men’s mones, too!) She might be able to help you find what you’re looking for to “break through.”
Thanks! I got my $25 gift certificate, so also thanks to the powers that be (aka Mickaelia). I’m going away for a few weeks, but I’m planning on buying a couple of travel samples with the $25 when I get back (eek, mooching! sorry! college student!) and then purchasing full-size ones when I have the money. Would Instant Shine and Instant Sexiness be good to start with, or should I get something more neutral like IH or IO? I have a date lined up for when I get back, so I’m hoping to figure out a combination that works for light chatter with a bit of attraction underneath.
Also, looking at the similar threads below, I see I am far from the first gay girl to tread these forums
Instant Shine is ALWAYS good! I dunno about the Instant Sexiness - I honestly can’t say. It’s designed to work for women on men, so I don’t know if it would work for women on women. That doesn’t mean it wouldn’t; I’m using A314, which is designed for men on women. I just don’t know. I’m just the wrong person to ask about that. Tisha, Mickaelia, can y’all help?
Products like IO, IH and Instant sexiness/b are perfect for making you more social , to give off that vibe that you can be trusted , you are soft and sweet and will assist in getting you more attention with the same sex.
Well, to be honest the opposite sex too but am sure you know how to brush them of.
You don’t want to use the men’s products because it will give of that male vibe and that is not what a girl who would be attracted to you wants which is why she is a lesbian.
I agree with Boudicca on shine for the stress at school and also if you give an intimidating vibe to someone who is not sure about how they feel shine can be used to make you more approachable.
Let us know what you decided on and keep us updated in the female section.
Being myself a man, i haven´t tried any women´s products, so i don´t know what to expect from any of them.
My first impulse was to suggest you try using men´s products (as you are looking to attract other women), but after reading Mickaelia´s post, it doesn´t seem to be a good idea.
Anyway, I will try to give you advice about some useful threads you should read.
