For him, I’d suggest you give IG a try. It isn’t as in your face as A314 but will increase comfort and respect to the wearer. As the Hammer mentioned the amount of time they are effective, IG is a spray as well, and will last ball park, 4 hours. If he see’s those hits with IG and capitalizes on them, then it would be MUCH easier to handle A314.
