for your girlfriend situation, i’d recommend ih. despite what the name sounds like, i find it works more on a “comfort” level rather than an “honesty” level. i use it with many of my mixes so that the people i’m around, namely my gf or good friends, are comfortable with what they’re feeling. in the case of my gf, it’s attraction; with my good friends, it’s high social status or the “cool guy” vibe. a bit of research into ih will give you more insight into this product.
