Hi Everyone,

My name is Crystal. I’m an old fart in the hippie / boomer age range. :smiley:
Female, recently moved from California to Oklahoma. Why? Inexpensive, can own my own home here, have a garden, chickens, pets.
Uh, let’s see – generally an introvert. I’m a Democrat. I like to read, I’m a prayer practitioner with one of those hippy dippy ‘ancient mysteries’ kinda spiritual centers. I have grown kids, two daughters – one has heavy duty intellectual disabilities and the other has heavy duty physical disabilities. Five grandchildren, two of whom have the intellectual disabilities, two are very young, one is grown and living with his dad in California. I moved here to retire. I wanted a garden, which I’m working on creating. I wanted to take art and writing classes. Have lunches with friends. You know – stuff. Shortly after I moved here and bought a house and was getting started, both my daughters and their families fell off the financial cliff in California and needed help to survive. I moved them here and am helping them get started. I’m trying hard to keep this from sounding too pitiful, but that’s really the reason I want to try the pheromones. I haven’t gotten to do much of what I’ve wanted to do because my family is leaning (sitting?) on me really hard – financially, need rides because they don’t have a car, etc. I’m thinking I could wedge more into my life that makes me happy, like those classes, if I had a better attitude and wasn’t so depressed about them being so (perpetually?) dependent. So that’s why I’m here – trying to catch a higher vibe, get back the joy in my life, etc. etc.

So if anyone reads this stuff, I did order the Instant Shine to begin, am open to suggestions for future orders, and want to thank the staff (whoever fills orders and decides these things) for the gift of Instant Openness that came in the package. That was way cool.

I may be posting more in the future – we shall see!

Do you have any particular social goals that mones might help with?
Everyone here is pretty friendly and helpful. Lots of good ideas available.

Hey, thanks for the welcome! :wink: Re: social goals – I wish. At this point, the lifeguard has half a dozen people drowning me. I’m just trying to keep my head above water. :slight_smile:

Welcome to pherotalk Crystal!

I personally find that the forum itself is an outlet for me and I get my jokes from the lounge and the chat box and much inspiration from the women section and just being able to express myself and get good feedback.

The products you started of with are good and you can work from there and tell us how it’s helped you so far and we will be able to give suggestions as to what else you should get.

Your situation is just what more families than ppl think go through , not as severe as yours but situations do arise where we have to be that stable rock for our families and at times it seems that no one is there to be that stable rock for us.

I pray that things with your family do get better.
