Hello everyone,
I wanted to sign up here because a while back, a believer was made out of me. Without giving too much away about myself, I’ll go ahead and give you guys the skinny as to why I’m here. For the lazy reader, I’ll put it simply: it’s because this is the stuff that easily qualifies as a secret weapon. It’s a head-turner and attention-getter of the highest order, and you don’t even have to do anything to inspire either one of those reactions. For the adept reader, well…
A friend of mine was a deep user of pheromones, and when I was single, was a pretty good confidant about all the little things that proved frustrating in every day life. Not just about dating matters, mind you. Work, too. As we are both in trying professions, there’s the usual trap of good attention versus bad attention: do one good thing, and a few people notice. Do one bad thing, and NO ONE FORGETS YOUR NAME!
We’re not screwups, so the latter was never a problem. However, I hit a hard point in life. I can’t really narrow down the specifics; it was just one thing after another, and it all snowballed. Everything imaginable got me down, and I grew more and more reclusive. I started seeing the worst in people, and just stopped caring about my job more and more. Don’t even get me started about dating. I’m not so egotistical to say that the lack of attraction was everyone else’s fault. I’m sure with the aura I exuded then, I may as well have gone into every encounter with “GO AWAY” written on my forehead.
But despite similar conditions, my friend wasn’t in a slump. I asked him what the deal was, why it was only me who had anything to bitch about these days. That’s when he pulled a blue bottle out of his pocket.
When he gave me the lowdown, I remember what I told him. “Man, you must be puttin’ me on.” He tells me, “What are you, Bob Dylan now?” and slips two bottles in my hand: Ammunition and Turn Up The Heat. I admit, I was skeptical. I’d seen shows on TV that debunked the idea of pheromones as ludicrous, and so my constant negativity reared its head: “This isn’t gonna work” came up once or twice in my head. But it was his stuff, not mine, and if it didn’t work, hey, at least I went to work smelling pretty good. So before I went to work, I gave myself a spray of Ammunition on one side of my neck and Turn Up The Heat on the other, and rubbed my wrists on the spots I sprayed both when I stepped out of the bathroom to clock in.
My job is one of support: if I’m doing my job right, people won’t even notice that I’m there. However, I played it up a little; I’d walk a little and pass up women as I went along. Before I knew it, I had women passing up other associates to ask little ol’ me a question. They were trying pretty hard to keep the conversation going, too, to the point where some of the questions they were asking were a little odd. While I smiled at this, I thought to myself, it might just be the scent working. They may just like how I smell.
Well, later on, I had a customer that opened conversation on something fairly innocuous, and we hit it off-- she actually flagged down a manager while she was in line and told my supervisor that I did a wonderful job in working with her, and that she was completely satisfied. She even gave me her name and number before she left. Sure enough, I called her that night (breaking the next-day rule) and as the conversation progressed, it got really heated. Though I began thinking “I guess I left a hell of an impression!”, she actually wanted to see me again when we discovered that we lived pretty close together. The thought made me smile, but then she clarified: she wanted to see me immediately.
When I got home later on, I needed no further proof. I read both bottles with great detail and ended up here. I’d been lurking for some time, and researching everything as much as I could.
First thing I thought was “damn”. Pheromones made to elicit certain physical and mental responses out of people. This is like something you’d see in a movie, almost to the point of being unfair when used in the playing field.
But that was then. Now, I have no illusions, and I’m thankful to say that everything is a hell of a lot different than they were before. I was planning to document my usage here to keep a sort of log as to the effects and differing uses. Every day I use anything, I’ll post the intended effect and the actual effect here. (Or, as per mod standards, I will post this log on a different board.)
My situation is that I’m going to give A314 (TOGO) a test run as now, I work in a restaurant and deal with many people, and I am going to buy Turn Up The Heat just because I enjoy seeing how people react to it. I’ll likely try a couple of others in their TOGO iteration, but I’m still looking. In closing, it’s good to be here, and I hope to get some insight onto any good leads and anything that’ll help me get things going, as well as any general input. This is an experiment of sorts that I’ve wanted to try out for quite a while, and now I finally have the ability to get things going.
Thanks, everyone!
