Hello! My screen name is cowboycnet but my real first name is Ben, cowboycnet comes from a company I started after was disability retired from the military ‘I did my 20’. The name of the company was Cowboy Connect and was a dot net not dot com. Therefore, CowboyCNet. Ta Da. In the military I was in the US Army Special Forces for 12 years and before that Ranger Battalion for 8 years. My last position was Team Sergeant of ODA *** (can’t say). I was injured in an underwater explosion o a scuba team. It took me 18 months to learn to walk and talk again and was offered retirement with a disability of 100%. But I only feel about 17% disabled LOL.
I have been divorced for over 4 years and am getting back into dating. I am able to and have lots of female friends. I haven’t been serious with a woman in a while. I came across this site from a friend and am impressed. I figure any edge will help a 41 year old, disabled guy trying to get beyond friends.
Who I am:
I am a complex person, outwardly assertive, logical, intellectual, impulsive and unpredictable.
Who I ‘Believe’ I am:
I am awesome to be around as no one knows what exactly to expect! I keep my friends guessing and entertained with my unique perspective on everything around me! I am different in every sense of the word; I am widely loved and respected.
These things make me smile: Body piercings, Boldness / Assertiveness, Braininess, Candlelight, Dancing, Erotica, Flirting, Long hair, Public displays of affection, Sarcasm, Skinny dipping, Tattoos, Thrills, Thunderstorms and Sex: wild, sensual, animal sex.
I have had a lot of time to see, to think about what makes somebody a good: father, brother, friend, lover or person and it’s about consistency and it’s about patience and it’s about listening and it’s about pretending to listen even when you can’t listen anymore and it’s about love, unconditional love. A good friend named Tui once told me: Ohana means family… Family means nobody gets left behind…or forgotten! Now with that said: I will never apologize for who I am.
Here is what I know:
The US Army is trying to track down and harness people’s smell of fear. The military has backed a study on the “Identification and Isolation of Human Alarm Pheromones,” which “focused on the Preliminary Identification of Steroids of Interest in Human Fear Sweat.” The so-called “skydiving protocol” was the researchers’ method of choice.
On its own, the alarm pheromone probably would not do much. But given an external trigger, such as a loud noise, it could influence people to start stampeding like spooked cattle. Then again, the bee alarm pheromone triggers attack rather than flight, and the Viennese study suggested something similar may apply to humans — or are there multiple pheromones involved? Whatever is going on, this research is likely to uncover some novel and powerful ways of manipulating human behavior.
Some in the military research complex have been down this road before. Remember the so-called “Gay Bomb,” that would make enemy combatants irresistibly attracted to one another? Speaking of which, all those web sites advertising pheromones to make you irresistible to the opposite sex haven’t actually got many decent studies to back them up, but I know what I’ve seen and experienced.
I Believe.
